America’s small independent refineries are essential job creators and fuel providers in their communities. https://t.co/HmXg8gdpBi

why is E15 Corn ethanol only translating to 15 cents per gallon discount to the consumer? that’s really the crux of the matter Gasoline Futures: $3.61 per gallon Ethanol Futures: $2.01 per gallon RIN: $1.94 per gallon RIN subsidizes the price of ethanol, so basically ethanol is almost free at these levels

Expanding E15 (15% corn fuel) can increase demand for corn and require costly infrastructure upgrades -- factors that contribute to higher gas prices. More mandates. More cost at the pump.

EPA’s emergency fuel waiver allowing #E15 sales during the summer driving season took effect today, May 1. As in prior years, the waiver will start with a 20-day period and be extended in 20-day increments throughout the summer. #ethanol

US ethanol is now the cheapest vs gasoline in ~20 years

While I am hopeful to be supportive of the Farm Bill, there is currently an E15 (ethanol) mandate tacked on to the Farm Bill that I am working hard to remove. I am convinced that this will increase costs at the pump for all Americans, whether they are driving a car or operating a tractor in a field. President Trump and his team rightly provided exemptions to small refineries from the ethanol blend mandate. This new E15 mandate, which I’m opposed to, will reduce these Trump-era exemptions by 80%. This ethanol mandate is set to subsidize corn states at the expense of the state of Oklahoma. It also aligns with the climate alarmist agenda aimed at crowding out fossil fuels. This could very likely put small refineries out of business across the country, further driving up the cost of fuel in Oklahoma. If Americans want to buy fuel made from corn and put it in their car, they should be able to do so But the government shouldn’t force it, subsidize it, or punish those who don’t want it It makes fuel and food more expensive Time to end ethanol tyranny Share if you agree
