@ianbremmer @WajahatAli You think the guy that bombed the elementary school cares about civilian casualties? Look man best wishes on Trump eventually calling you for one of his 5 minute exclusives but I’m gonna keep it real over here

Why would you think it isn’t? Trump is obsessed with blowing stuff up, has talked about using nukes in the past, clearly loves having his name in the history books, and is more unhinged than ever. Do tell me why you think I’m wrong in a way stronger than vague posting in my mentions

@EzeCyp @washingtonpost They are only slightly less left-wing than MSNOW, but they pretend not to be. I don’t care if that’s what they want to be going forward, but Ellison or whoever runs them ought to be honest about it.

When someone like David Ellison promises to respect editorial independence at a major outlet like CNN, it sounds reassuring on paper. The problem is, employees have heard that kind of promise before, and they know control doesn’t always look like direct interference—it can show up through budget cuts, restructuring, or subtle pressure. So the concern isn’t just about politics, it’s about influence. Large staffing cuts can reshape how news is gathered and reported, even without anyone openly changing the editorial line. That’s why people inside these organizations tend to stay cautious until they see how things actually play out, not just what’s promised in public.

During World War II, Hitler was convinced that Americans lacked the will to fight and that any who did would be quickly overwhelmed. When early reports arrived from the battles in North Africa, German observers noted that Americans fought differently from the Europeans. Rather than charging aggressively and risking heavy infantry casualties, U.S. forces relied on overwhelming firepower—staying at a distance and expending vast quantities of artillery with little hesitation. Thanks to unmatched industrial production and logistics, fresh supplies were always available. This approach allowed relatively smaller American units to wear down much larger and well-entrenched enemy forces. In contrast, German and other European doctrines often emphasized aggressive maneuver and were sometimes more willing to accept high casualties to achieve objectives or preserve key equipment. This material-heavy American style surprised many Germans, including Hitler, who had long dismissed U.S. soldiers as soft and lacking in fighting spirit. He believed soldiers were cheap and expendable; he discovered too late that Americans fought to conserve lives by expending machines and ammunition instead. It was one of many reasons for Germany’s defeat—perhaps the hardest for some foreigners to fully understand. Americans place a high value on the lives of our soldiers. Equipment and shells could always be replaced.

@jojceec69 @QuipSkeptic @IamSean90 Good grief. If you take Brightline to Miami Central, you have immediate access to Miami’s (FREE!) Metro Mover that will take anywhere you want throughout downtown Miami and Brickell. Or for a fee, MetroRail which will take you all the way to the airport.

@QuipSkeptic @SteveMFlorida @IamSean90 No, because it's never been the more convenient option which is why I said it sucks. If it had a complimentary subway system to navigate/connect to the metro areas that would be awesome but if I have to Uber/bus to the station and back I'd rather drive my own car

If you’re noticing Tucker Carlson being attacked from literally every direction of the political machine. It’s because they are terrified of him running for president. Because he would win and they know it. And that’s why I’m deeply concerned for my friend Tucker Carlson and his family. These people are vicious and evil and will attempt to destroy anyone and everyone that reveals the truth.

NEW | Special Report: The war in Iran is currently in a phase in which the military trajectory is relatively positive: the United States is steadily destroying Iran’s ability to use its most essential tool in the war — drone and missile attacks — which in turn underpin the entire Iranian strategy. Iran has still done some damage to US forces, and it is still firing drones and missiles, though the overall attack rate is slowly decreasing. These attacks still pale in comparison to the major attacks Iran sought to conduct in an existential war and have caused neither operationally significant damage nor widespread casualties. The US-Israeli combined force will need time to achieve its military objectives and prevent Iran from inflicting further political and economic pain upon the United States and its allies in the region, but the campaign remains incomplete, and it is too soon to forecast its outcome. Declaring it an operational failure is unquestionably premature.

Seriously? You think you’re going to retain any credibility by claiming that we prepared for months to use military force to clear the Strait of Hormuz, but now 13 days into a war with Iran after they closed it down and we still haven’t moved? There’s no reality to this claim at all. This is more evidence of an administration flailing in the wind, trying to use words to hide behind a grotesque failure of strategy, with no idea what to do next. Things just keep going from bad to worse…
Disclose.tv@disclosetv

NOW - U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent says the Navy, possibly with an international coalition, will escort vessels through the Strait of Hormuz as soon as militarily possible and that they have been planning for this for months leading up to the Iran war.

Thats a really good point. Two weeks after landing in Normandy everything went exactly as the allies had planned, Germany stopped fighting and surrendered. All because Eisenhower and Roosevelt made sure to tell retired military 'experts' and the press the details of the war plan. Compared to that this is a total fiasco.
