@ValueNotDeadYet Didn’t that blonde bimbo in the white house tell us yesterday there was no evidence Russia was supplying intelligence l?

@GavMcCracken He also then said there would be a boots on the ground component as well. So not sure how that means it’s over. Who knows for sure…

Today, Netanyahu told the goyim that the war in Iran would end soon. All night long Tel Aviv has been taking Iranian missile hits. Is it just me or does the story here not add up?

@cap_zay Didn’t he say this would be over sooner than most would think? Those two statements don’t jive. Boots on the ground is a months long process just to get everything in theater. And they have nowhere to stage them close enough to not be savaged. Ludicrous

@matlamb74 @TheStalwart @tracyalloway Gas prices have almost doubled in the US. Fertilizer way up, soon food and all other products up. Inflation comes back strong. This only helps people directly tied to the Oil and Gas industry otherwise it’s just another tax on the populace.

@TheStalwart @tracyalloway It’s really not bad for America. The rest of the world, yes. You could make an argument that the US’s energy independence gives it a competitive edge during a situation like this.

The estimated feasible daily release rate caps out at around 2M barrels per day This means it will cover ~20% of the shortfall in the best case scenario, and that's assuming more stuff doesn't get blown up in the meantime x.com/fbirol/status/…
Fatih Birol@fbirol

Following @IEA Member countries' decision to release 400 mln barrels of oil stocks to counter disruptions, initial volumes have already been made available Thank you to countries for their stock contributions & to Canada & Mexico for increased production: iea.li/4rGAVKa

@capitalistexp The GCC are a bunch of cucks. Do something then, kick them out tell them they can’t use your airspace or they will be shot down.

@slyowusu @MyLordBebo I said the same thing the other day. It would take 6 months or more to gather all the men and equipment. And where are you putting them? They have no bases left close. And can’t protect anything at this point. Delusional.

@MyLordBebo And where do you congregate 500,000 troops with all these satellites, drones (& missiles) flying around? And even 500,000 troops aren’t enough. #daft

🇺🇸🇮🇷 The chances that the US will invade Iran by the end of 2026 are 54%! Iran fires more missiles and sets the whole global economy on fire. So far, there is no way around it for the US, but can they set up the entire logistics flow and organize so many troops so quickly?
Lord Bebo@MyLordBebo

🇮🇷🇺🇸 IRGC releases video of US F-35 getting hit over Iranian airspace "A U.S. F‑35 fighter jet operating in central Iranian airspace at approximately 2:50 AM local time was struck and seriously damaged by the IRGC’s aerospace defense systems. The fate of the aircraft is currently under investigation, but a crash is considered highly likely" — IRGC Public Relations Office

@calvinfroedge 74D chess man. The US is keeping the stait closed didn’t you know. And then obviously letting Iranian oil go to China. Can’t believe you haven’t seen this master plan.

@ctindale This shit is unbelievably fantastical. The ships Iran lets through get through. You can fellate yourself anyway you like into believing Trump or the US is in control. But that is the reality right now.

Maintain military presence and rapid response near Hormuz without guaranteeing protection to anyone . Allow risk to raise costs and force dependent states to act. Intervene selectively on terms that suit , shifting burden outward while retaining control over when and how stability is restored. If Taiwan needs some LNG then help , if Europe needs some then don’t worry about it . Leave the burden on the shoulders of those that care about it being open the most - India and China Regular programming will resume in ……..
John Ʌ Konrad V@johnkonrad

Let's unpack this.. What if the White House has no intention of reopening the Strait of Hormuz? What if this war is really about ships & tariffs? I had a long discussion with senior DOE official yesterday on background. I can’t share any details but it’s clear everyone’s Strait of Hormuz calculus is wrong. We need to go back to the drawing boards. That's it. That's the tweet. Now a hypothetical 🧵 with my personal thoughts.

@GavMcCracken Doesn’t cutting rates and printing just make this worse? You can print molecules. I think the central banks are going to be stuck.

We're all so out of distribution here no investor knows wtf is going on. Seriously, this fuel crisis could slow the global economy by so much that everyone has to cut rates to negative just to avoid a global depression. Jobs will be lost en masse. Buy Suncor to hedge $SU

@hcapinvesting They are currently fracturing global supply chains at the base of virtually all products. This is getting bad fast. Being bearish here is probably valid. It hasn’t stopped yet either this looks like it gets far worse before better.

@FinEconGlobal Trump is lying. He knew about and coordinated with Israel on all of this. He wanted this though maybe he thought it would go differently. Now he’s stuck. And Bibi is running the show. If he decides he needs to abandon him now. It’s all over. The ME is lost to the US.

@FinEconGlobal This seems to be the absolute worst case scenario. Demand destruction you can print and “fix”. Supply destruction at this level and continuing is awful. Printing/lowering rates just makes the problem (inflation) worse.

Iran has been bombing perhaps 10 countries for over two weeks, everyday, firing thousands of missiles and drones under heavy attacks, aiming for targets hundreds and thousands of kilometers away - Didn't hit one school.
