It's one of my favorite days of the semester. I get to simultaneously introduce my students to @MarketPowerYT and see how many of them completed the pre-lesson assignment.

For most of history, life changed glacially. Then, about 250 years ago, humanity discovered the secret to sustained growth — the marriage of knowledge and innovation. This year’s Nobel Prize in Economics honours Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion, and Peter Howitt for explaining why that transformation never stopped. Mokyr traced how “knowing why” replaced mere “knowing how,” fusing science and engineering into a self-sustaining cycle of progress. Aghion and Howitt showed how “creative destruction” — innovation replacing the old with the new — powers prosperity, even when it feels disruptive. Read @DrChandanKJha & @Sudiptahere's column for BasisPoint: Why Our Prosperity Endures: The Human Story Behind Modern Growth basispointinsight.com/Story/Home/why… #NobelPrize #EconomicGrowth #Innovation #CreativeDestruction #Economics #AIandEconomy #KnowledgeEconomy #HumanProgress

Amazing experience with @airindia recently. They downgraded me by an email just saying that. No Explanations. Just a simple sorry. Then they randomly assigned me a seat - no choice given. From Aisle to Window. Is this a common occurrence @IndiGo6E ? Refunds ≠ Convenience.
