@Child_Of_Adam It is clear you have no clue what you are saying about how Asylum claims works. It is not a Temporal documents when it has been granted. The vast majority of people living abroad are already citizens of that nations or have Permanent Residential Status Stop talking Nonsense.

I see many people writing open letters to Paul Biya and so-called Anglophone movements as well as Ambazonia leaders, calling for dialogue following Pope Leo’s visit and asking us to follow the Pope’s request. I also heard Bishop Andrew Nkea saying there are people on both sides of the conflict who do not want dialogue or do not want the crisis to end. These are the facts: Ambazonia movements have been ready for dialogue since 2017, from day one of the conflict. We have shown this on numerous occasions. It is Cameroun that has refused to come to the table to discuss as equal partners, considering that two Cameroons supposedly came together. Our position has always been clear: dialogue must be between Cameroun and Ambazonia representatives, mediated by a neutral third party. The Government of Canada tried and even issued a public notice. Cameroun then came out and debunked it after seeing how united Ambazonia movements were during the pre-talks. They expected to meet a disjointed group of people. So those writing open letters should direct them to Biya’s government ONLY. We are ready as soon as now. If Cameroun truly wanted to end the conflict, they would allow the moderates — the federalists — to hold their All Anglophone Conference. They would even align with some of the moderates’ demands, knowing this could place pressure on Ambazonia groups. But Cameroun has not even been able to listen to the moderates or allow them freedom of association and assembly. So no, Mr Bishop, it is ONLY the Cameroun side that does not want this war to end, because they do not want to meet either the moderates or the hardliners. The message is simple: all those who love so-called one Cameroun and claim to want peace should direct your dagger to Cameroun and leave Ambazonia groupism alone. You know where the issue lies — in Yaoundé, not in Buea.

It appears that the so-called Anglophone elite are beginning to accept the reality that the position of Vice President is likely to go to a Francophone. In response, they seem to have enlisted sections of the English-language media to advance their interests and gain some leverage. In my view, it could ultimately benefit Southern Cameroons if Mr. Biya appoints someone from French Cameroon. It may serve as yet another hard lesson for the so-called Anglophone elite. That lesson has been evident since 1 October 1961: the Cameroonian state has consistently shown no concern for what is often referred to as Anglophone Cameroon. If Anglophone politicians are truly serious about representing their people, they must move beyond party loyalties, form a united bloc within Cameroon’s parliament, and advocate collectively for their constituents. Their longstanding failure to do so is one of the factors that has contributed to the emergence of Ambazonia.

I think language matters, and Cameroun’s media should report with accuracy and facts so people are properly informed. Cameroun has not reintroduced the position of Vice President. What Biya has done is create a VP role designed to ensure the continuation of his regime for decades, even after he is gone. The term “reintroducing a Vice President” would only make sense if the country had returned to a two-state federation. That is clearly not the case. The VP approved today by the Cameroonian Congress bears no resemblance—absolutely none—to the Vice President of the former Federal Republic of Cameroon. The 1972 Vice President position was intended to maintain a so-called national unity between the two Cameroons. What the CPDM has created now is entirely different. This new VP position represents a group of Bulu thieves and henchmen who have stolen Issa Tchiroma’s victory, acting in their own interests and for their families. Please, stop saying that Cameroun has reintroduced the post of Vice President. Thanks.

Have to give credit to Cameroon Govt when it does something right - convicting and jailing 3 soldiers for murdering at least 21 civilians in its campaign to defeat Ambazonian (Southern Cameroon) separatists. But are 5 and 10 year sentences enough? bbc.com/news/articles/…

So the African Union is holding an "emergency session" on Israel's recognition of Somaliland. More useless hot air and carbon dioxide; zero results. Some members petrified of their own mistreated regions going their own way. Try providing justice to all! addisstandard.com/au-peace-and-s…

@TiborPNagyJr America which claimed to be the World leading democracy has failed to uphold the truth. We never saw @SecRubio congratulating the president of Venezuela on his inaugration. Calling an illegitimate regime of Biya after massive fraud and the protest was simply shameful of @POTUS

For those unhappy with US SecState Rubio phoning Cameroon Prez Biya, remember - US must deal with the world the way it is, not how we want it, and Biya is the leader of Cameroon. But also note, US is congratulating Biya on his inauguration, not election! state.gov/releases/offic…

Ambazonians, hear me. This is the moment to return to the spirit of 2016 — the 'Consortium, Governing Council, SCACUF' era. We must begin by forgiving ourselves and forgiving one another. Do it for those who have fallen, for our brothers and sisters in refugee camps, and for those still imprisoned. To all our men and women who have grown disheartened or gone silent — we need you now. This is the time to rise once again, to regroup and rekindle our unity for one last, FINAL push. The moment calls for us. Please — biko — let us do it.

Paul Biya completely lost, at the swearing-in ceremony today. Didn't know where he was. Him: "Should I stand up? Them: "Yes, Your Excellency, that's what he said. Because he is about to read the oath..." that's what he's going to read. Him: "Like this?'' Them: "Yes." The video is even more pitiable. O ma se o! 🙆🏿‍♀️

@SGCommonwealth @antiguagov @ABHCUK What are the core values and Essence of the Commonwealth if it is seen as supporting undomocratic regimes trying to stay in power! Its a shame that after killing its citizens and jail some for protesting you turned a blind eye and congratulated the regime of Paul Biya.

I held very fruitful discussions with Hon Jamale Pringle, leader of the opposition, on strengthening democratic governance in the Commonwealth, including the importance of close partnership between political parties in national governance and the work of the Commonwealth.
