@Sen_Alsobrooks Fix Marylands energy bill crisis! My electric bill is 3x more than normal! I can’t keep this up. A year and a half ago, when purchasing my home, I was told by the electric company that the average bill for the home was $181.00 per month now it’s sitting at $900!

American in Maryland says he barely uses any electricity and his electricity bill is $675 because of data centers “I live alone. There is no reason why my one month bill should be $675 when the house is pitch black” “When we talk about these data centers, there is no question that the reason why our bills are as high as they are is because you've got these multi-billion dollar corporations, Meta Amazon, who come into our communities — don't pay a dime in taxes. And this is why our bills are the way” “We know that multi-billion dollar corporations don't pay a dime. And this is why we are suffering. Our quality of life is in the toilet. Plus the people who have been elected to represent us, you guys are not doing your job”

@RepAprilDelaney Something needs to be done about the energy prices. My electric bill should not be $900. People can’t afford it. Please do something! Signed - A Washington County resident.

Sanctuary politicians are attacking this ad campaign because it has been successful in CLOSING our borders and getting more than 2.2 million illegal aliens to LEAVE the U.S. Self-deportations are 70% cheaper than a forced ICE removal. This ad campaign saved the U.S. taxpayers over $39 billion. The results speak for themselves. foxnews.com/politics/dhs-d…

The men and women of @CBP do lifesaving work at Otay Mesa, and everywhere. There are over 1.7 billion lethal doses of cocaine and fentanyl confiscated and sealed in this vault – potentially saving 1.7 billion lives. Shutting down DHS over @ICEgov, which is only 11% of our budget, shows that those politicians either don’t realize the full scope of our national security missions — or just don’t care.

Agnes Gibboney’s son Ronald was killed by an El Monte gang member who was in our country illegally from Mexico. Yesterday, I visited Agnes at her home in San Bernardino, CA.   This is why @DHSGov fights. We will always stand with Ronald,  Agnes and every Angel family.

It was an honor to host @Sec_Noem and Colonel Mike Gorby, Texas National Guard, Retired in Del Rio, Texas, to assess the current state of the border and discuss the significant accomplishments we achieved this year under the Trump administration. Progress is being made - but the mission continues. We remain focused on strengthening border security and advancing the path forward. @CBP @DHSgov @USBPChiefDRT

A nation without borders is no nation at all. President Trump has delivered the most secure southern border in U.S. history. Now it is our mission to make sure it stays that way for the long run. Thank you, to the brave men and women of DHS law enforcement who are on the front lines. You make America proud!

I am incredibly proud of the men and women serving at the National Response Coordination Center to respond to the winter storm. The Trump administration has worked around the clock with state and local governments ahead of this winter storm. Response to this storm has been locally executed, state led and federally supported. Those are President Trump’s principles. That’s how it should be. That’s what works. Please continue to stay safe and stay off the roads!

As much of the United States braces for a historic winter storm this weekend I am working closely with state and local authorities, federal partners, and the White House to give Americans the resources they need to stay safe.  This storm system is expected to produce heavy snow, dangerous freezing rain, and life-threatening wind chills. It is predicted to impact over 230 million Americans across 34 states. I have activated the National Response Coordination Center to monitor the storm and coordinate federal support to affected areas. At my direction, Federal Emergency Management has:     •  Pre-positioned critical commodities, including 30 generators, 250,000 meals, 400,000 liters of water, blankets, baby food, and other essential supplies.     •  Established staging areas for potentially impacted areas – including Texas and Louisiana.     •  Embedded staff in State Emergency Operations Centers.     •  Deployed three Incident Management Assistance Teams (IMATs), with 15 additional teams ready to deploy.     •  Placed 28 Urban Search and Rescue teams on standby. Stay safe this weekend. For more information on how to prepare, go to Ready.gov
