A man who is 15 years older than me has been messaging me for a few weeks. I initially politely declined his interest in “getting to know each other,” and have not been replying to any of his messages since. @CChick3097 @Angry_Staffer I find it useful for sifting through information overload. Simple example - I am looking for a recipe that uses black beans and pumpkin or sweet potatoes but not cumin. Google searches are no longer helpful to find something that excludes the cumin, but chatGPT will find them. I

Is anyone doing any crafty stuff for the Olympics? I am debating between picking a fancy pattern and aiming to finish it, or gathering up my wips and try and finish as many as I can. I'm also thinking of doing a small spinning challenge, a certain amount of minutes per day.

@CeliaBedelia @JeanLuize Yes yes yes you do! This is the only brand I've ever found in the US. It's creamy and almost like a caramel fudge but somehow both sweet and savory. I love pairing shaved thin pieces of it with apples or pears.

My friend gave me the best cheese I’ve ever eaten and unfortunately does NOT KNOW THE NAME OF IT. That being said, her husband is willing to take me to the market with him next Saturday in order to meet the man who makes it. Cheese + LOTR + heated blanket = my happy place.

@CeliaBedelia Damn that's even lower than mine was. I was at an 11 a few years ago. Dr prescribed a weekly dose of 50,000 units.. about a year later I was up to 33.. the low end of normal is 30. I haven't been tested in a while so thanks for reminding me to bring it up at my next visit.

I had bloodwork done this week & my vitamin D is at 8, which is apparently very low. I already take supplements but need to go up to 20,000 IU/day. I take cod liver oil & drink milk/orange juice. Any other tried-and-true fixes? Mallorca? Or do I just give in to being a vampire?

@LIDutchess Sometimes, I think my body really wants me to move back to where I grew up. All of my health problems began once I left South Carolina. 🫠 My body had never known coldness or darkness before I moved to Utah for college!
