To me the “emergency” around BIP-110 is to stop contiguous data storage.
If that’s not possible, the larger issue of SPAM is not an immediate emergency and requires more consensus which takes time.

These things light me up. Tech, ai, and materialism continue to disguest me more every day.

New York City is a pressure cooker, and lots of professionals have weekend places in the Hamptons to get away.
I’d argue the Hudson Valley can be the better move.
It’s closer. Less traffic. Much more peaceful.
When I leave the city on a Friday, I want to disconnect and slow down.
In the Hudson Valley, you get land, nature , and real quiet.
You’re close to skiing. You wake up to tranquility, eagles flying around, and you can sit outside and hear nothing.
The Hamptons is great if you want the scene. But if you live in New York City, you already have the scene.
For me, the weekend is about turning the volume down.
And you get a lot more for your money doing it upstate.

A bit dark but assuming gold keeps performing well, lately I do think a catalyst for Bitcoin would be another executive order 6102, unrealized gains tax on gold, some other form of capital controls, or seizure by another nation state etc. at some point in the next few yrs.
