I enjoyed visiting the North Florida School of Special Education, a remarkable institution dedicated to supporting students with intellectual and developmental differences. During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore their innovative programs, including equestrian therapy and the microenterprise ventures in farming, culinary arts, and visual arts. These programs play a vital role in enhancing students’ academic, vocational, and social skills, empowering them to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
