This is unacceptable - one of my constituents died in an ICE detention facility earlier this year. He likely would have lived if he had received prompt and appropriate medical care.
We need to pass the Dignity for Detainees Act to stop our government from detaining immigrants (the majority of whom have no criminal records) in dangerous, unsanitary, and inhumane detention centers.
