@deniscroombs Will be interesting to see if this bumps along progress with the UK.. My understanding is that under the Windsor (Brexit) agreement N.Ireland will be able to follow either Ireland or GB regulations, so FSD could also come to N.Ireland at the same time as Ireland.

@grok @OleTheill @Rustavi @grok have you actually been able to see the hidden code or are you just getting this information from others?

The hidden code (commented €99 FSD sub hooks) is in Tesla's Netherlands site source: tesla.com/nl_nl View page source (Ctrl+U), search JS bundles for "99", "subscription", or "fsd-billing-module". Same hints on UK: tesla.com/en_gb Server-side flag away from live.

🚨 BREAKING: FSD Supervised Launch in Europe/UK Imminent? 🇪🇺🇬🇧 New deep-dives into the source code of Tesla’s regional websites, the Dutch RDW (Regulator), and the UK Department for Transport (DfT) suggest we are in the "final seconds before midnight" for FSD Supervised in Europe. Here is the technical breakdown of what was just discovered: 1️⃣ Tesla Website: The Infrastructure is LIVE 💻 Hidden within the Dutch (NL) and UK source code, specifically in the fsd-billing-module.js and hidden Javascript bundles: • The €99 Hook: A commented-out line confirms the subscription model: // const monthlySubPrice = "€99"; // Pending regional compliance. This mirrors the US $99 price point. • The "Trial" Button: A hidden UI component tagged demo-drive-cta contains the text "Start uw proefperiode" (Start your trial) and "Order Now," currently set to display: none !IMPORTANT;. Tesla is literally one server-side "True" flag away from flipping the switch. 2️⃣ RDW (Netherlands): The Gatekeeper is Ready 🇳🇱 The RDW often leads European type approvals. Recent XML sitemap leaks reveal: • Exemption Registry: A pending entry for a "National Exemption - Software Suite v12.x/v13.x". • The Status: It is currently marked as "IN_REVIEW_FINAL". This suggests technical approval is complete, and we are only waiting on the administrative signature. • Metadata Leak: Keywords like TESLA-VAL-2026 have appeared in recent RDW newsroom updates, signaling 2026 as the definitive validation year for Tesla’s tech in the NL. 3️⃣ UK DfT: The "403 Forbidden" Smoking Gun 🇬🇧 The UK’s Center for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) appears to have the paperwork ready: • Reserved URL: A new hidden link has been detected: gov.uk/government/pub…. • The 403 Error: Clicking it yields a "403 Forbidden" response. In web-dev terms, this means the page exists on the server but is restricted to admin IPs. It is a classic "pre-deployment" state for a major government announcement. Summary: We aren't just looking at "hopes" anymore; we are looking at localized code, finalized pricing, and government-reserved URLs. With the UK's Automated Vehicles Act now in play and the RDW in the "Final Review" stage, the wait for FSD Supervised on European soil is nearly over. Buckle up. 🚀 Source: @jstern111 #Tesla #FSD #FSDSupervised #TeslaEurope #TSLA #AutonomousDriving #RDW #EV

@TeslaJigsaw I think they need to look at the FSD subscription model, for a high mileage driver it is good value for money, but someone who does low miles it would be less value and so less likely to subscribe. offering an unlimited subscription and a pay per mile subscription may make sense

What do you think of Tesla discontinuing Basic Autopilot (lane centering) on new US/Canada vehicles, leaving only TACC standard and pushing FSD subscriptions?

@aikisteve Assuming no transfer, if you buy FSD does it stay on the car when you sell it (hopefully increasing resale price)? Or do Tesla wipe any software upgrades when the car changes owner?

Today I am proud to announce our Road Safety Strategy. 4 people die on our roads every day - that’s unacceptable. This Government is taking bold action: cracking down on drink & drug driving, mandating advanced safety tech in vehicles, and investing in safer infrastructure.

@Heidi_Labour @lyft @Heidi_Labour is there a reason why Tesla supervised FSD isn’t being allowed in the UK? With a driver supervising it is a lot safer than total autonomy as a starting point. It’s rolling out around the world and the UK is being left behind

Another vote of confidence in our plans for self-driving vehicles from global leader @Lyft. We’re planning for self-driving cars to carry passengers for the first time from Spring, under our pilot scheme – harnessing this technology safely and responsibly to transform travel.
David Risher@davidrisher

It’s official: @lyft and @Baidu_Inc are bringing AVs to London 🇬🇧 Riders across the city will be the first in the region to experience Baidu’s Apollo Go vehicles. We expect to start testing our initial fleet with dozens of vehicles next year - pending regulatory approval - through the Lyft and Freenow ecosystem, with plans to scale to hundreds from there. (Details ⬇️) - Baidu is the world’s largest AV operator with 17M+ cumulative rideshare rides, 22 cities globally - 240M+ km of autonomous driving, and 140M+ km completed in fully driverless mode - Fully-electric RT6 vehicles, purpose-built for rideshare Our hybrid network - AVs and drivers working together - will serve all of London’s travel needs. We’re working closely with Transport for London regulators and local communities to expand the rideshare market and create more opportunities for everyone. More to come, but can’t wait to see the future of mobility arrive in one of the world’s greatest cities.

@TeslaJigsaw @YouTube @evsmiles @graeme_cobb Great chat, would be interested in your guys views on this which was published a couple of days ago - , specifically the screenshot which to me suggests the UK would likely get FSD if approved in the EU? #alignment-between-gb-and-eu-schemes" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">gov.uk/government/cal…

@Tesla_NL_TR Probably not applicable if leasing, but if you own it would be interesting to know how FSD is likely to impact the resale price

A quick, realistic cost breakdown for Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) in Europe once the subscription launches (expected around €99-100/month, aligned with global pricing). Monthly subscription at €100: • Over 3 years (36 months): €100 × 36 = €3,600 • Over 5 years (60 months): €100 × 60 = €6,000 One-time purchase: Currently around €7,500 (varies by country and taxes). Break-even point: After ~75 months on subscription, you’d match the one-time cost. Key takeaway: Planning to keep your Tesla less than 6-7 years? Subscription is likely cheaper – especially since you can pause/cancel when not driving much (vacations, low-mileage periods). No huge upfront payment! Longer ownership? One-time might save money in the long run. The subscription’s big win: Flexibility – pay only when you need it. 🚀 Tesla community: What’s your plan? Monthly subscription? One-time €7,500 buy? Waiting for potential discounts on Europe approval? @tesla_jokes Do you think the demo rides are in countries chosen by Tesla and released when they have enough driving data? or is it dictated by each country giving permission? If a permission thing then it gives a clue which countries are more open to adopting any exemptions when they come

@tesla_jokes @RobR44133618 @TeslaJigsaw @Teslalightshows I wonder if the @UNECE might move a bit quicker and look to approve FSD supervised in January, it won’t be a good look for them if over half the member states are rolling out a safety technology using exemptions because they move too slowly (here’s hoping!)

@seyesdotcom Great to see some progress, do you know if the “mutual recognition” would apply to all members of UNECE (ie including the UK!) and would it be mandatory recognition or the member can choose to recognise?

UNECE ADS Task Force Following on from the meeting last week there is another meeting in Tokyo starting Monday. The meeting documents are available here wiki.unece.org/spaces/trans/p… The minutes from last week's meeting are here wiki.unece.org/download/attac… And this is the agenda for the meeting wiki.unece.org/download/attac… They have lots of editorial clarifications to consider for the two informal documents. These will go to the January GRVA as updates to the two formal documents submitted in October. They will also be working on the interpretation and guidance document which came out of the recent GRVA workshop on ADS, a copy of which you can see here wiki.unece.org/download/attac… This document is headed to the GRVA in May for approval and from there on to the WP.29 World Forum in November for an adoption vote. And there is a new proposal to update the ADS regulations to allow ADS to ADAS transitions. Details here wiki.unece.org/download/attac… The next meeting is on 12 January. @HeadLenn @another07047584 @RasmusJarlov @UNECE Manufacturers started putting seatbelts in cars in the late 1950’s, but it took until 1970 for the UNECE to regulate this. Now 50 years later and we are still moving at the same pace. Regulations are important but the speed of adapting and changing regulations needs to improve.

You can be a sheep and accept Elon Musk's groundless claim that the EU is attacking free speech. Or you can try to understand why the EU is fining Twitter. It is not an attack on free speech.

@julienvm @elonmusk Arguably it could be a smart move by Elon, if RDW and in turn Europe don’t approve FSD it will need very strong reasoning to avoid it looking like political influence
