We led Tenkara’s $7M round to bring ops agents to U.S. manufacturers. When we first met Ben Stern, his lived experience was obvious. As he puts it: "Ten years ago I was building factories. Today I'm building the tools I wish I had inside them." Manufacturing has an infrastructure problem. Tenkara is building the ops layer that lets small procurement teams operate with the scale and efficiency of much larger organizations — automating supplier discovery, procurement, compliance, and logistics. As domestic manufacturing becomes increasingly important, this kind of infrastructure becomes foundational.
