If you switch out Henrique for Dickinson when he returns, I think these are the most optimal forward lines.

@austoniac Kapanen has struggled on his own, but there may be legit chemistry with Draisaitl (61 GF%, 55 xG% over past two seasons). Of course, I do wish we had a better player at 2RW, but *if* they can continue those results, you have a much more well-rounded lineup.

Not sure JT Hughes was ever a fit in Edm as a C. Cautionary tale too with college stars. Ike Howard couldn’t make Oilers regularly on LW after winning Hobey Baker last season. Hughes is very talented and finalist for Hobey Baker as NCAA best player but there are no guarantees

@AustinHockeyYT Y'know. Statistically speaking. You're better off hiring a new coach without cup experience vs one with. Only 3 coaches in the history of the NHL have won cups with more than one organization. Scotty Bowman was the last one in 2002.

Quick thoughts on Edmonton's acquisitions:
1) Connor Murphy (RD)
Legitimately a good defensive player, whether we're talking about man-on-man defending, hitting or on-ice impact. Simple with his puck plays, defers a lot to his partner and sometimes puts his Fs in bad spots.
