Electricity Rate In Maharashtra Is approx 11 Rs Per Unit. Electricity rates in neighbouring Chhattisgarh is 5 Rs Per Unit. I am unable to comprehend why there’s so much “premium” we have to pay when MH is Electricity Surplus state?

@pnqiad @CMOMaharashtra Primary purpose of traffic police is to regulate traffic & not issue challans. With technology there is no need to catch violators or pick up two wheelers . Issue a challan. The most important aspect is ensuring these fines are collected strictly , and effectively.

Isn't a major duty of a cop to prevent violations instead of focusing on issuing challans? His standing there could have stopped hindrance to Karve Rd traffic going straight or taking illegal turns. But I guess meeting challan quota is more important CC @CMOMaharashtra 2/2

Booking a flight on @IndiGo6E and paying a fee for ‘zero cancellation’ means a tortuous process to receive a refund (if it comes) from an insurance company and that too a fraction of what one paid.

My electricity bill has more taxes than actual electricity charges. Fixed charge — for existing. Wheeling charge — for delivery. Fuel adjustment — for their fuel. Electricity duty 16% — for the state. And then a late fee if you’re 2 days behind. The @MSEDCL doesn’t serve you. It invoices you. 🧾 Shouldn’t they deduct an amount for not providing electricity for hours too?

I will defend this till my last breath if I have to, the best aamras is always the one made at your own home using payri, or at most an 80:20 payri/hapus compromise. Pure hapus aamras is glorified mango pulp pretending to have personality.
