Nice job by CNN's Danya Gainor looking at 911 issues in DC and nationwide. The story starts with DC911/@OUC_DC's wrong quadrant dispatch five years ago when Sheila Shepperd collapsed and died. And it includes STATter911's recent efforts showing dozens of address and other mistakes this year. You know, the ones Director Heather McGaffin ignores with the blessing of @CMBrookePinto @brookepintodc. Apparent lack of geolocation. Solutions exist. A normal house, the front & back doors will be a distinctly separate 10m grid. Separate houses will surely be in difference grids. Are responders sure of which door they should kick in, when justified?
