Democrat Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers says the state's congressional map is gerrymandered for Republicans and needs to be redrawn. The only problem? HE DREW THE STATE'S CONGRESSIONAL MAP!

@govevers is claiming that keeping power plants open IN OTHER STATES is causing Wisconsin utility rates to increase. It couldn’t possibly be because his PSC (entirely appointed by him) raised rates $2.2 billion.
Governor Tony Evers@GovEvers

ICYMI: The Trump Administration is forcing aging coal power plants to remain open, causing utility bills to go up for Wisconsin families. I sent a letter urging them to reverse course and focus our efforts on reducing costs and investing in cleaner energy production. Read ⬇️

For 40 years, smog from Illinois has forced SE WI drivers into emissions testing. Yesterday, I was proud to stand with @RepBryanSteil, @RepGrothman, & @RepTiffany as they introduced their bill to bring commonsense change. Watch ⬇️

What does Chuck Schumer, Keith Olbermann, Jimmy Kimmel, Hakeem Jeffries and the rest expect to happen when they spend all day, every day describing Trump as a Nazi or fascist, calling for Maximum Warfare against him at all levels? They should all be ashamed.

Republicans believe university admissions should be based on hard work and good grades. We passed a bill to guarantee that. Democrats opposed it, and of course, Tony Evers vetoed it. It’ll be interesting to see what criteria his regents prioritize instead. Do you think @RepJacobson or @RepRobynVining will volunteer to look your child in the eye and explain why they were rejected?

Illegal aliens that commit crimes should be deported. Period. Madison Dems are far left of the Clintons, Obama, & even Tony Evers (until his handlers forced him to cave to the radical mob that runs their party). Dems in Madison are making it clear they want WI to turn into MN.

WI: We thank @Vanwanggaard & @RepSpiros for their sponsorship of SB 248/AB 258 & @GovEvers for signing it into law. 1/3 of crash fatalities involved drunk driving in WI in 2024. We are proud to have supported this upgrade of the IID law to help save lives. waow.com/news/gov-evers…

Thanks to @GovEvers veto, and Democrats voting no, Child Welfare Agencies don’t have to report threatened or suspected abuse to law enforcement.

.@GovEvers signed three of my bills this week! The first bill, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 163, ensures new energy storage facilities are included in the calculation for utility aid payments made to local governments. The second bill, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 176, expands @WisDCF’s successful Transitional Jobs/Transform Milwaukee Jobs program – helping up to 350 more Wisconsinites join the workforce each year. The third bill, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 180, puts additional precautions in place when a sexually violent person is released from prison back into our community. Thank you to my coauthors @SenJesseJames, Sen. @Vanwanggaard, and @SenHutton for working with me on these bills. I’m proud we were able to get them across the finish line!
