Tiny things like these make everyone in a coworking space less productive And it's always some girl at the front desk playing her favorite songs (or break up songs if she just had a break up) A coworking space should be dead silent (white noise at best) and climate controlled @ 22C/72F with people choosing their own music or sound on their headphones People who do calls should be put in fully soundproofed call booths and never allowed to call outside of it Most coworking spaces suck: they're too loud, too hot (AC is set wrong or non-existent or shuts off at 5pm), chairs are wrong, tables are wrong height etc. You should be extremely autistic about this stuff when you're designing a space for deep work because it literally affects everyone's productivity and the point of a coworking space is great work Or you're just building a community hang out, not a coWORKing space
Andi@andi_losing

I worked from a coworking in Bangkok today it’s on the 40th floor and the view over the city is crazy but the music there is really loud without noise cancelling I don’t think I could concentrate

@davidpattersonx Is this bait? Canada didn't become more evil, you people did. Get your head out of your ass and stop praying to AI. You're prescribing your fake sheltered views to the world

Has anyone else noticed that people have become more evil? Canada used to be a good country, and is now openly evil in many things. It's not the government, it's the people. Most of my family and friends have become more evil over time. We seem to have reached a sort of peak evil. Anything more and society would completely collapse. And it might. I don't even bother to struggle against it anymore. It seems hopeless. My only hope is that AI will fix it.

@hamptonism Oh sweet summer child. I’ll take back the claim “have a life” but in general I already have my ClaudeCode agents building part of this Ontology graph as we speak 60% done for the SP500 in the last few weeks.

met a kid at a coworking space last tuesday. 20 years old. makes $11k/month managing google ads for garage door companies. i asked why garage doors. he said "i typed random services into google maps and looked for businesses running terrible ads. garage door companies had the worst ads i had ever seen in my life. one of them was spending $4,000 a month sending traffic to a homepage with no phone number on it." he emailed 60 of them. 9 replied. he closed 4 at $1,500/month and got them actual results within the first 3 weeks. that was 7 months ago. hes at 8 clients now and just hired his first contractor. he doesnt post content. he doesnt have a website. he has a gmail address and a google ads account and he picks niches by looking for people who are already spending money badly. everyone wants to sell to sexy tech companies. this kid is getting rich off garage doors and he cant stop smiling about it.

Spent an hour with pencil.dev and I'm sold. If you're an engineer who has strong design opinions but zero design skills (ie. me), this is your tool. Free, runs on all platforms, uses your own claude sub with no setup, and the built-in prompts actually work great.

I don't know how you all manage to do it on this site, but it's seriously impressive being able to make AI usage so uninteresting. Its like you're all just spending your time 'building' a really kitted out workshop in your garage just in case you finally have a good idea.

@jimmyg1964 @_Steve_34 @wealthmoose @Shooo2Shooo2 Also worth noting that Costcos big cuts have always been more expensive. I can get this same thing from a few places in toronto for under 200. Not excusing anything either but every time someone posts about meat prices it's always from Costco.

Well no I am not but I think you might be a bit touched. No. I don’t like paying more, I am merely trying to point out (which clearly went over your head) that this appears to be more of a rage baiting tweet. Tenderloin is a good cut of beef and when compared to what you might pay at a grocery store these days the price is pretty good. The price is not going to come down, the current government in Ottawa won’t allow it, I mean they think cow farts are destroying the planet. Anything that they are trying to get the masses to believe that is destroying the planet the price is just going up.

🚨🇨🇦 $252 FOR A TENDERLOIN? At Costco. In Canada. In 2025. Families aren’t buying “luxury cuts”…they’re doing math in the meat aisle and walking away. This isn’t inflation anymore… it’s food insecurity disguised as a price tag. If Ottawa wants to “judge itself by food prices,” here’s the report card. 👇 #cdnpoli #CostOfLiving #FoodInflation #GroceryGouging #CanadaCrisis #Inflation #Canada @FoodProfessor @ronmortgageguy @MarkJCarney @PierrePoilievre

🔍 The hidden driver of Canada’s food inflation? 🇨🇦 🥩 Meat Remove meat from the basket and inflation suddenly looks way tamer — almost calm. So why are prices still soaring? Opaque import rules, supply management quotas, and zero transparency. Canadians deserve clarity — not sticker shock. @ronmortgageguy @FoodProfessor #cdnpoli #FoodI #inflation #CostOfLiving #GroceryCrisis #TransparencyNow 🇨🇦 #Canada

@wealthmoose Downtown Toronto yesterday. $24 for 3 ribeyes. Might not be the best cuts but still... Why do people keep buying meat at Costco? It's always been expensive there.

@jai_mansukhanii In 2016 I was at a startup that was in Mars. I made a reddit post then noting that nothing about the space felt like it was meant for startups or innovation like they advertised. I noted only large companies and banks were there. Result? Nearly got us removed from our unit :/
