Organisations in Greater Manchester should be respecting women & girls & following the law - #OneYearLater they are dragging their feet. Our members will be in Manchester 11/4 1pm Emmeline Pankhurst Statue St Peter's Square to demand our rights.
#199 Days Later@acts_grassroots

Anyway, enough of this nonsense. Anyone who’s able, get yourself to a listed location on April 11th. We think they will try to change the EA2010 to include all women - as it’s clear they don’t want to obey the law. Let’s not lose this fight now.

We are heartily sick of @bbc promoting surrogacy and normalising this monstrous practice. Today, on @BBCr4today Thought for the Day, a commissioning father was given a platform to talk about becoming a father courtesy of a surrogate mother. @bbcnickrobinson

‘BBC Man’s Hour’ have done it again. Inviting a man onto today’s show to discuss the “extreme misogyny” highlighted in The Manosphere - Louis Theroux’s recent documentary. Dr Raewyn Connell lived as a man until the age of 62 before transitioning. That means his experience is of being a 'trans woman' - not of the lifelong misogyny experienced by actual women. Which raises an obvious question: why not platform a woman - with both the professional expertise and personal experience - to speak on this issue?

What is the point of having any statutory guidance or curriculum regulation if schools can bypass it all through their libraries? This disturbing report shows the extent of the infiltration of gender identity and Queer Theory in schools, through trans books for kids.

Banned transgender pool player granted right to appeal at High Court. Exclusive: Harriet Haynes was banned in August & will appeal despite last year’s Supreme Court ruling on transgender women. Fiona McAnena, director of campaigns for sex-based rights charity @SexMattersOrg, told Telegraph Sport: “It’s hard to see any good reason why a male player can possibly think he should be allowed to play in women’s pool tournaments……. telegraph.co.uk/gift/08e2cefe3…

@LWDScotland Thank you for the support. We do in fact have months to go thankfully. Crowdjustice counts down on a monthly basis so it can be a bit misleading. But please keep sharing as we have a lot to raise. 🙏👍

Please support @AHFdoco's crowdfund if you can, and share widely. Just days to go with a lot still to raise. They're appealing the ET judgement: there's a link to the grounds of appeal on their page and it's worth reading in full. 1/2 crowdjustice.com/case/in-defenc…

What an absolutely brilliant day. I understand around 150 people turned up from all over the uk to petition their MP. It couldn’t have happened without these two amazing women, @hartleythinking and @roseveniceallan

If my daughter were in this Guide group, I would remove her immediately. Because youth organisations shouldn’t be using children to front political campaigns. This video from Thatcham Rangers, part of Girlguiding, shows girls holding slogans such as “trans girls are girls” and “our story includes trans girls”, while the Guide Promise is read over the top. The video also includes repeated shots of what appear to be shark and dolphin plush toys - which call to mind the Blåhaj shark plush toy from IKEA, a soft toy that has become a well-known symbol in online trans activism. The video is presented as part of a badge exercise on protest and activism. But when it involves coordinated slogans, covered faces and links to activist organisations, it’s reasonable to ask whether this is really a youth activity - or political campaigning. The caption includes a disclaimer that the views expressed don’t necessarily represent those of Girlguiding or the church involved. But it also thanks activist organisations including Guiders Against Trans Exclusion (GATE) and Newbury Pride. At the end of last year, Girlguiding announced that boys who identify as girls would no longer be able to join Guiding - a policy change that prompted significant public debate. To be clear, this isn’t criticism of the girls themselves. The responsibility lies with the adults who organised and encouraged them to take part in a highly contested political campaign.
