I know I post this with every ultrakill update but it's because I really like so much about the game overall. It just feels way too maximalist for what it is by now

new ultrakill layer is brilliant, sort of, but so absurd that i feel the game might have exhausted me. and i bought it in 2020. its been stretched and warped by all these years of development into something that doesnt much resemble what was good about devil may cry or quake
