@cryptony0x okay but why does this actually make sense?? i hate it

traded a whitelist spot for an upcoming mint back when i was still deep in ordinals season. sent payment first, got added to what the seller called the allowlist. turned out he'd added me to the wrong round, a public one that didn't need whitelisting anyway. he swore he read the deal right. i swore i didn't. no one lied, the words in the dm thread just meant two different things to us.
that's the exact gap @GenLayer exists for, except at agent scale instead of two anons in a discord dm.
a normal smart contract can confirm a payment cleared. it has no way to tell you whether the deal it just executed actually matches what both sides meant. that's fine for a simple swap. it falls apart the moment agents start negotiating real terms, because most real terms aren't yes or no questions.
genlayer calls itself the adjudication layer for that reason. intelligent contracts read the actual agreement in plain language, pull in outside context if they need to, and hand the dispute to multiple independent ai validators who each reach their own verdict before anything settles. one model doesn't get to grade its own homework.
three seats open right now in the portal: community, builder, validator. all three earn genlayer points from day one.
if that whitelist trade happened between two ai agents instead of two anons, whose version of the deal wins?

Yo Sachs,
this is exactly why infra like x402 is the narrative to watch imo. @RobinhoodApp Chain + Canopy just activated HTTP's old "402 Payment Required" code — AI agents now pay per-request via one Permit2 sig, settled onchain in USDG. no custody, no manual approvals.
early attention on this = the edge you're talking about 🏕️

I don’t blame them. I wouldn’t want to give up my property either.
A Kentucky family is suing to protect its ancestral farm from an AI data center.
A mother and daughter are refusing to sell their 200-year-old Kentucky farm to data center developers, and now they are fighting the project in court.
Ida Huddleston and her daughter, Delsia Bare, live on a 1,200-acre (486-hectare) farm in Maysville that has remained in their family for more than two centuries.
The land is more than property to them. Their family has raised livestock, grown crops, built homes, and buried loved ones there. Bare says she spent her childhood riding horses along its fences, while Huddleston has lived on the farm since she was 17.
When real estate agents began buying farmland for a proposed 2,000-acre (809-hectare) AI data center, Huddleston and Bare briefly signed an agreement to sell part of their property.
But the decision quickly became unbearable.
“I don’t want to leave my home. I don’t want to leave my flower beds,” she told her daughter.
Bare moved quickly to cancel the deal and was relieved when a lawyer confirmed that the data center developers could not force them to sell.
Now, they have joined other residents in a lawsuit challenging the project.
The proposed data center would require as much as 2.2 gigawatts of electricity, along with major new power, water, sewer, road, and fiber infrastructure. Supporters say the unidentified Fortune 100 company would pay for those upgrades and bring jobs and tax revenue to the area.
But opponents fear the project could strain local water and electricity supplies, replace farmland with industrial development, and permanently change the rural community.
Some nearby residents have already been displaced. Twenty-eight people living in a mobile-home park were given 90-day eviction notices after parts of the property were acquired for the development.
An earlier legal complaint was dismissed, but the family and other members of the group We Are Mason County filed another lawsuit in June. The project is still moving forward, and a court approved rezoning for the development in May.
Huddleston and Bare say they are not leaving.
“Money don’t mean anything if you don’t have food, water and can’t breathe,” Huddleston said. “And they’re not making any more land.”

@BitmanTW @NavenNetwork the timeline needed this. thank you for your service
English

$NAVEN dip is in imo
Been digging into @NavenNetwork
think it’s one of the most underrated infrastructure plays on Robinhood
While everyone is focused on AI Agents, very few are talking about how those agents will actually pay for APIs, data, models, and services autonomously.
That’s exactly what Naven is building:
- First x402 facilitator on Robinhood Chain
- Infrastructure for machine-to-machine payments
- Native support for $USDG
- Workspace is already live, making it easy to deploy production-ready AI agents
- Future roadmap includes agent discovery, marketplace, and composable financial primitives
AI agents can’t become truly autonomous without a payment layer.
And Naven is building that layer.

The job that AI was supposed to replace is experiencing the opposite of the expected outcome. Software job postings are outpacing other fields.
Why is that? If you lower the cost of production of something that has lots of use cases, people want more things produced. We’ve seen this play out in the industrial world constantly, and now we’re finally seeing it in knowledge work.
Because software now is much lower to cost per unit, people want way more of it. So we start to use software for all new things and people and companies light up more software projects than ever before.
But because the job itself is not fully automated (and likely won’t be for as far out as we can see), you still need people that understand these systems to maintain the code, decide what to build, run it over the long run, update it, and more. That all requires people to do work.
The same thing is going to happen in many other fields as well as we bring down the cost of production of previously extremely scarce areas of work. Agents will cause more abundance than replacement.
Marc Andreessen 🇺🇸@pmarca
Technology increases productivity → cost of output falls → demand for output rises → more total output gets built → more jobs (and at higher wages).

over the last 6-8 months, ive been trying to move towards the ml systems and ai infra space. these are some of my favorite work ive done -
1. a small python inference engine which is mainly a testbed for me to implement the major inference techniques, its about 600 toks/s on an rtx 4060 ti with prefix caching - github.com/JINO-ROHIT/tac…
2. wrote a blog post that outperforms cublas on ada using cute dsl - jino-rohit.github.io/blogs/08_cute_…
3. a detailed post on ncccl collective communication - jino-rohit.github.io/blogs/11_colle…
4. a blog series on how torch compile works and internal mechanics - jino-rohit.github.io/blogs/
5. i maintain my notes and experiments of most of the work around ml systems here - github.com/JINO-ROHIT/ml-…
5. open source work in sglang and llm-compressor(vllm).
im trying to become a stronger ml systems and inference engineer. what should i spend my next months getting better on?

Nat Eliason built an autonomous AI agent named Felix that earned $177,417 in 2 months.
Felix got a budget, an X account, tools, memory, and permission to hire other agents.
Nat kept the API keys, the veto on risky moves, and the final call on every result.
Felix wrote a product, launched a site, ran promotion, joined the Claw Mart launch, and sold agent setup to other companies.
That is not a better prompt. That is a manager running an AI entrepreneur.
The secret formula: goal + budget + tools + memory + daily tasks + review + correction + new actions = an agent that actually earns.

AI TAKES THE WHEEL ON WALL STREET
JPMorgan is testing AI agents that independently shift investments between stocks and bonds as market conditions change.
In 20-year backtests, its top model beat the traditional 60/40 portfolio by 0.7 percentage points annually, with lower volatility. All eight AI agents delivered stronger risk-adjusted returns.
But JPMorgan urges caution: the results are simulations, not live performance. AI could also increase crowded trades and amplify market stress.
