The US should have a plan to evacuate important scientists and engineers from Taiwan before the CCP can get to them. If China does invade, destroy all TSMC sites and data storage facilities. Intel or TSMC USA can bring the Taiwanese scientists and engineers on board to work for them. In fact, we should have similar plans for scientists in South Korea and Japan. The CCP likely has plans for those countries too.

Taiwan produces over 60% of the world's semiconductors and over 90% of the most advanced ones. Most are manufactured by a single company, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (TSMC).     This is why the U.S. will defend Taiwan, at least until all those chips can be produced elsewhere 🚨🚨🚨
