If you'd have told me 3 years ago that "working through my backlog" would look like - recording a voice note, explaining the full scope of the ticket - pasting transcript into Claude Code / PHPStorm's Junie - attaching relevant files for added context - watching YouTube for 5 minutes - quick code review + testing, rinse and repeat, I would not have believed you. Yet this is where we are. Agentic AI coding is PARTICULARLY powerful for chores like "improve documentation" or "create a REST route similar to this one in this file over there but for this model." I'm breezing through my backlog here, and I get to watch Genesis concerts from the 90s. The magic is in the prompt. I explain as much as I can, as if I'd explain it to a peer programming buddy or another dev. I explicitly tell the agent to test its changes, and to find inspiration (in code smell and implementation style) from other files. I often tell the agent to deeply research the entire codebase. The result? Code that works and looks like mine. VERY impactful.

SLACK's lack of AI summaries by default is a total fail ... and you can't install the CLAUDE app unless you have enterprise—another fail. Is there a great way to have AI study and summarize and advise you based on your SLACK?
