There is a level you will get to on upwork, you don’t even need to apply for any job again, clients just come straight to your DM with contact offers, no application, no job interview, nothing. Consistent hard work will always pay.

@MorganOMedia I bid on both kinds of gigs but when it comes to small gigs, I feel like investing those earnings on my connects and saving money from bigger ones.

For the sake of my Upwork experiment I’m applying to jobs between $15-$1000 with at least one job at the lower end of that spectrum and one at the higher end of that spectrum each week for consistency. And every time I bid on a $20 gig I feel like the recipient of that proposal is the lucky winner of some huge grand prize. 😂 Although I assume the weekly $20 gig will ultimately blow up in my face and tank my profile or something as it’s always the cheap clients/small projects that are the most demanding/inexperienced/rude. Regardless … Science!! 🤓

All you need is 3 hours of deep work a day to get ahead of the competition. Most people who "work 12 hours a day" spend it procrastinating. Select 3 tasks that will move the needle and work like your life depends on them. Because it does.
