A slightly more nuanced version of all these claims is highly likely to eventually happen on perfectly rational ground, some can be shown to have happened already on empirical evidence. - bitcoin will eventuallt make MODERN, fiat-fueled, permanent, global, totalitarian warfare, significantly less affordable (but wars will still exist, even big ones, as they did before 1917) - bitcoin is and will remain a hedge against everything except for total technological collapse (then I guess we're back to gold) - bitcoin is being slowly adopted by nation states, for strategic reserves too, even when the very same nation States will try to prevent their subjects to adopt it (that's happening already at small scale) - bitcoin has already severely impacted energy markets (it will do so much more, almost inevitably) - entering bitcoin rabbit hole *can* be a good excuse to become healthier, physically and mentally, and even improve family relations (it did happen to many already).

The attack on Bitcoin was very well organized, maybe years in the planning Seems to me that an important phase was to identify and buy/compromise accounts like w_s , pledditor, grubles and others that did 180 on spam. Then they reasure the plebs with “fees will outbid spam”
