DeFi always innovates, here are 4 DeFi apps catching my attention these days. Ostium - RWA derivatives @OstiumLabs Recently launched mainnet, one of the places where I can trade commodities. New instruments, new asset types, all on chain, why wouldn't I like this! Also building some cool structured products on top of @Polymarket to trade the news. Top stuff @kaledora! Gammaswap - perpetual options @GammaSwapLabs Innovated on the idea that shorting LP tokens = the inverse of impermanent loss, users can come to gammaswap and short their LPs (to possibly hedge their LP so they can focus on making trading fees). For me, the most exciting thing is coming with their AVS using @eigencloud and then structured products. Managing hedging manually can be a bit tricky, so if we can see some one click deposit and earn strategies, I think we'll see a ton of action. Super cool stuff from fellow option builders @0xDeFiDevin Pear Protocol - Pair Trading @pear_protocol Pair trading introduces a new way of having exposure to the market (not everything has to be USD related!). In fact, it's something we do all the time with the amount of gloss we give to charts like ETH/BTC. With a top UI and UX, built on great perpetual and infra protocols like @GMX_IO, @vertex_protocol and @symm_io, there is a ton of value with on click pair trading in one UI. Some of the great features and I think what will make @pear_protocol stand out from all the rest include the tokenised indicies. You know well that I'll be long Memes and AI indexes and short the L2 index - that's a pair trade I need to get @hufhaus9's approval on!🍐 Fractality - basis trades @fractality_fi Previously a close one to my heart, with Y2K, the pivot is pretty incredible. Now one of the highest yielding basis trade protocols. Users have their collateral deposited into DEXes and CEXes and earns yield through funding rate arbitrage. Of course hopefully a @HyperliquidX EVM and @berachain launch will get those yields a little more juicy with some native token rewards. One of the cool features here that really interested me is the vault token, here being fUSDT, can now be used across apps in DeFi. What does that mean? @Crypwalk_240 will be the first to tell you but I will give my first impression: Leveraged basis trade yields. @origami_fi, can we do something here? If so, this becomes a monster of a product. There is so much happening in DeFi, it's crazy trying to keep up. Will do these a little more often because trust me, there are a lot more than just 4 apps catching my eye these days!
