We’ve been seeing a massive increase in malicious usage of the Anitgravity backend that has tremendously degraded the quality of service for our users. We needed to find a path to quickly shut off access to these users that are not using the product as intended. We understand that a subset of these users were not aware that this was against our ToS and will get a path for them to come back on but we have limited capacity and want to be fair to our actual users.

@notjosh I think the latter. In my projects it’s always been US en as the default, but that’s certainly a product owner decision I think.

@alding yeah, conceptually that’s fine. but I don’t get what en is in that scenario. do you just arbitrarily assign en-US? is there a standard/best practice, or should it be unique to each project’s audience?

does anyone know of resources for best practices on setting up translations on a project? i.e. do you need `en` if you have `en-US` and `en-GB`? what happens if you have an `en-AU` client? etc etc
