@PPCKirk @MenachemAni @NeptuneMoon @CJSlattery @AnyaGildner @gildner @AndrewLolk Completely agree @PPCKirk . Good PPCers are colleagues at other companies, not competitors.
English

I *love* talking shop and sharing (specific) notes about my agency with my "direct competitors"... and that's because I just don't see people like @MenachemAni @NeptuneMoon @amyppc @CJSlattery @AnyaGildner @gildner @AndrewLolk & so many others like them out there as my direct competitors.
There are just too many bigger agencies (or in-house DIYers) out there doing poor Google Ads work* to worry about the solid PPCers that I may bid up against in a project 1-2x a year. So much more for us all to gain by pooling knowledge and learning from each other than to silo knowledge and act like we're a threat to each other.
If you lead an agency or own one, happy to chat with you as well as my schedule allows.
*being a big agency does NOT mean you do poor work, just that we tend to see a lot of random bigger agencies (mostly full service) I've never heard of who are doing the worst job and phoning it in on accounts. #ppcchat

Been talking more with agency folks these days, and I love it. Had an awesome call yesterday with @PPCKirk. Hit on Google, how to think about running an agency and what your goals are, putting a treadmill under your desk, and more. Just a ton of fun.

@AnthonyHigman They had a similar offer maybe a decade ago? $100 for you and $100 for new advertisers. I think you had to use the $$ on Google swag though, not ad credits.

@AnthonyHigman Respect for leaving up ETAs... does that mean the account hasn't had any new campaigns, ad groups or ads in a year and a half though?
English

So I still have 1 account that is 100% Expanded text ads and it is one of the best performing accounts we have.
Thank god I didnt switch to RSA's because they are seriously Dog Sh*t and one of the biggest scam/cushion shakes Google has rolled out.
Nothing matters anymore with RSA's. Google has FULL control to do whatever they want and in any format and so ad data is slowly becoming meaningless as we forced further into "trusting" the machine.
English

@meaghanppc @Realicity @GoogleAds And these responses don't even reference a ticket #, so you don't know which account or issue they've officially given up on and which is still floating in the ether.
English

@Realicity @GoogleAds Had a similar experience a few weeks ago… funny how you can’t get Google reps to stop calling, but it’s impossible to get a hold of technical support

English

Just had a client cancel because we've been waiting 3+ weeks for @GoogleAds support to respond and still haven't heard back despite multiple requests.
Never been this disappointed in Google Ads. Their customer support is a joke these days.

@Wiznutz What I've seen is that Looker Studio has put a lot more resources into the backend and computing, and relatively few resources into improving presentation attributes.
The upside is that work arounds have a long shelf life.

@MeasuredMrkting sorry to hear you're having trouble with it. I had success with every prompt I posted, with the exception of the one I borrowed from PPCAdsEditor, which I noted in the article.

@swaycopy Product: Advanced AI language model that anyone can use.
Positioning: The Google Killer that will replace you too... unless you learn how to use it. (And also it's fun and will blow your mind.)
Price: Free
Conclusion: All products sell themselves.
English

@MeasuredMrkting I've had mixed results on getting it "read" URLs - sometimes it does, sometimes it tells me it can't.
Asking again later often does the trick.
English

@amyppc FYI it can't run half the prompts you have mentioned, it doesn't have internet access!
English

@digitalceo5 Honestly... it's not worth my time to find out. It's simply not a calculator, so if I need to do math, I'll use a calculator.
English

@digitalceo5 @OnlineInference @Optmyzr @siliconvallaeys I've seen good results when you can identify value props, key benefits, differentiatiors, etc. Including the target market (which you did) is good too. You may need to get more specific with which info to include, if you're getting subpar responses.
English

@amyppc @OnlineInference @Optmyzr @siliconvallaeys I asked it to create ad headlines for a specific new product then provided a few paragraphs about the new product, who's it's for, etc. Maybe there's a better way?

@OnlineInference @Optmyzr @siliconvallaeys @amyppc Curious of your thoughts on this one. I tested headline copy on ChatGPT for fun. My issue was the lines were very basic. It could just be the early era of chat gpt but I feel they won't replace copywriters yet. What do you think?

@vipsyvipul Actual response from #ChatGPT: "Absolutely agree! We are thrilled to work on incorporating more creative writing capabilities in the next version of ChatGPT. Thank you for the suggestion and we can't wait to see the joyful reading experiences it will bring!"
English

The next version of #ChatGPT should focus on creative writing. While the current version is good at generating definitions, it largely misses the aspect of joyful reading.
