Israel burned alive nine children. The fact that we are watching their singed bodies be removed from their home and the word “reportedly” is still added to this headline speaks volumes. For 19 months Palestinians have held their dead children before the world’s eyes.

This baby was removed from under the rubble with no head after the air strike on Dardouna family house in Jabalia last night. Over 50 were killed were murdered from that family. For God’s sake! Even the massacre itself was not covered in the media. Why the hell is that? 50 people are nothing? Because they are Palestinians? This baby’s head is not important? I’m boiling. Shame!!!

What really perturbed me watching yesterdays bubble bylaw debate in Toronto was constant evoking of the Christie Pits riots against actual Nazis in the 1930s as a comparison to Palestine solidarity protest. This is extreme ignroance at best and dangerous revisionism at worst.
Matt Elliott@GraphicMatt

"At least the Christie Pits riot was pretty truncated and short-lived," says Councillor Colle. "But what has happened since October a couple of years ago is that there is really an escalated form of systemic attacks of all degrees on people in Toronto who happen to be Jewish."

Several prominent NDPers are running cover for holocaust Israel. On Thursday former NDP MP and Toronto mayor Olivia Chow voted to suppress protests against Canadian complicity in genocide. The wife of deceased former NDP leader Jack Layton backed “bubble zone” legislation that’s even worse than what city staff initially proposed and probably unconstitutional. The measure restricts protests within 50 metres of any school, daycare or religious site that applies to be declared a bubble zone. The crazy thing about the bubble zone push is there’s been far too little protest at genocidal Jewish supremacist institutions. Toronto’s TanenbaumCHAT, for instance, hosts “IDF day” fundraisers without anyone ever protesting at Canada’s largest private high school. On Sunday United Jewish Appeal of Toronto is beginning its Walk for Israel’s holocaust at Temple Sinai Congregation. It will then stop at the Jewish community’s Sherman Campus. These two institutions will both likely apply to be “bubble” protected, meaning rallies won’t be allowed within 50 metres of them. Another concession to the holocaust enabling ethos in Canadian politics was many NDPers response to the recent killing of two Israeli diplomats in Washington, DC. Echoing a racist, nationalist, ‘respectability’ posturing, Rabble.ca columnist Karl Nerenberg described the diplomats’ killing as a “hate crime” in an article that failed to employ the word “genocide”, which even “Some pro-Israel advocates are now using” noted a Times of Israel headline (Nerenberg actually quoted Netanyahu referring to “the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7”). The more appropriate term, argues Kieran Kelly, is “holocaust”. While aggressively genocidal diplomats working for state committing a holocaust are Nerenberg’s focus, the former CBC journalist ignored Israel’s medical assassinations this week to destroy the health care system in the northern Gaza. According to the director general of the Palestinian health ministry in Gaza Muneer Alboursh, Israel “has assassinated 12 of the most skilled nurses and medics in the Ministry of Health, particularly those working in intensive care units.” Press secretary for the leader of the NDP, Nina Amrov, echoed Neremberg on Facebook. She labelled Elias Rodriguez a “psycho-antisemitic murderer”. She says the killings happened at a “Jewish Gala” but fails to mention the nation the “embassy workers” represented. Amrov was press secretary when Jagmeet Singh claimed spiderman for Palestine waiving a flag during a demonstration was “antisemitic”. She was press secretary when Singh condemned a cartoon mocking Netanyahu as anti-Jewish and when the NDP leader failed to attend a single demonstration against Canada’s complicity in a holocaust. For her part, former NDP MP Libby Davies called the killings of two Israeli diplomats “senseless”. Did she read Rodriguez’s statement? Aside from the fact Rodriguez released a manifesto and chanted “free Palestine”, is killing diplomats of a country committing a holocaust “senseless”? You might not like it but would killing Nazi German diplomats be “senseless”? Even if Israel wasn’t starving and slaughtering Gaza in a bid to cleanse it of non-Jews, Israel has no grounds to complain about its diplomats being assassinated internationally. Its leaders have operated an international assassination machine since before the state existed. Over the past 77 years Israel has assassinated Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians, Germans, Lebanese, Iranians and others in a dozen countries. Mossad has also assassinated at least one Canadian, Gerald Bull, in Brussels, Belgium, in 1990. Canada has a connection to a number of these assassinations. For many years Mossad agents used Canadian passports to carry out foreign assassinations, including a case of mistaken identity in Norway in 1973 and the botched poising of Khaled Meshaal in Jordan. As I detail here, Canadian officials turned a blind eye to the use of Canadian passports in these killings. Two wrongs may not make a right. But give it a break with the racist, nationalist, ‘respectability’ posturing while Canada is enabling Israel’s ethnic cleansing. yvesengler.com/2025/05/24/whe…

People cringed at my condemnations of Olivia Chow during her campaign. Heard it again when she increased the Police budget. Then came her collusions with TPS after October 7. Now the Bubble Zones. We beyond being pragmatic yet?

The Gaza genocide is nearing its final, most brutal phase, and Israeli universities are providing intellectual, logistical, and technological support. The academic boycott of Israeli institutions is the minimum that justice demands. mondoweiss.net/2025/05/studen…

The majority of Canadians are supportive of Palestine on almost every metric. In many cases it's not even close. That's why it's important to report @EvanDyerCBC. Canadians want a foreign policy that matches their world view & values. Read for yourself: nomoralcover.wordpress.com/2025/03/14/whe…

In Haaretz Hebrew, 22 May, former Israeli PM Olmert says he used to think that the mass killing of civilians in Gaza was a result of a "tragic war" & he denied the charges of genocide & war crimes, but now he thinks: it is an intentional annihilation. archive.ph/3vvOi

Imagine how depraved a person would have to be to march in solidarity with a state that is committing genocide and bragging about it. A far better name for this annual Toronto event would be "Walk with Genocide". #Gaza #genocide #Toronto @MayorOliviaChow #onpoli
