People just have no idea how radicalizing it is to see stories like this over and over again. It’s just like, you know, you have to shut up. Like, you really have to shut up. You have to stop doing this. There is no future in this.

My main complaint with blue's case for this thought exercise is the selection of 50% is arbitrary. Surely if 100% have to pick blue, no one would argue you should hit blue. But a lot of people think 50% is okay. We're actually taking about risk assessment, not morality.

I don't know why people argue with me over George Floyd. There are maybe like 12 people who know more about this case than me and none of them are academics or leftist. - It took 17 minutes for EMS to go 2 blocks because they went to the wrong address. - Chauvin called EMS 30 seconds into Floyds Arrest. - Floyd is seen on Camera consuming pills - Chauvin was trained in the technique he used and it was retroactively made illegal and prior training was hidden from the jury - The medical examiner admitted if this happened at Georges home with no police, it was an OD - EMS didn't hook George up to Oxygen when put in the ambulance. They forgot to hook the tubing to the O2 tanks - Floyd still had a faint heartbeat when he reached the hospital despite all of this

The more I read this story, the more insane it is. Why are people only putting ~3% down on a huge home & making their monthly unaffordable? Why does the lesbian couple insist on IVF & genetic testing instead of IUI, which is $10k cheaper at least? Why $600/month doggy daycare???

@TheLaurenChen If EVERYONE pushes red, nothing happens. If >50% push blue, nothing happens. You will never see 100% of people pushing red, so it is wiser to push blue.

Reading people's justifications for pushing the blue button is actually spiking my cortisol levels If everybody pushes red - nothing happens! So why on earth would anyone press blue? It's a needless gamble, but it's being painted as the altruistic decision for some reason

A good entry-level 3D printer is surprisingly affordable for home use, and super easy to setup. It’s early, but the fun and learning scales: 3yo can pick and print —> 10yo can DIY designs —> I can prototype hardware products 😍 Recommend!

People don't realize how big Jupiter actually is. That tiny brown speck? That's Io. A moon with mountains taller than Everest and volcanoes that shoot lava 300 miles into space. The black dot next to it is just its shadow. Jupiter could swallow 1,300 Earths and still have room left over.
