All I wanted was a safe place to work. A wage that is livable across the board and better benefits. All I wanted was for others to have the courage to speak up and say they wanted the same. But that’s not what I got at all. And I’m outraged.

This is retaliation and there is no cleaning or covering that up. Two years and I have never even remotely been talked to about being behind the line off the clock…but today I was fired for it.

I got fired for “opening a door” and “being behind the line off the clock” How many times have I made my own drinks during my lunch break. How many times have I been on the floor during a lunch break. How many times have I opened the door for mobile order when the cafe was closed
