Just a local who wants to make SF enjoyable for all. Made https://t.co/2VTjPTsX9G to help new/old residents and visitors. Also dabble in 🎨 to beautify SF!

If you're visiting SF and only pack shorts and a t-shirt, you're going to have a bad time. Mark Twain may not have actually said "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco" but he should have. askmesf.com/what-is-sf-wea…

The #1 question I get from people moving to SF: "what neighborhood should I live in?" Every neighborhood has a completely different personality. Here's the breakdown: askmesf.com/best-neighborh…

I go to Golden Gate Park 1-2x a month and I'm still discovering new things. Lakehouse Jazz on Friday nights might be my favorite date night in the city. Here's my full local's guide: askmesf.com/golden-gate-pa…

SF is genuinely turning a corner. AI funding hit $122B in 2025, office leasing is up 62.8%, and crime is at a 23-year low. I wrote about what's actually changed (and what still needs work). askmesf.com/sf-comeback-20…

i will say that gen z is composed of radically talented outsized individuals or complete vegetables and basically nothing in-between. this is clearly the result of the internet and i could not expect this trend doing anything other than accelerating with ai.

Don't wait for a better SF to magically appear. if it does, great, but the wheels of gov. move way too slowly for me. here's what we all can do to immediately improve the city, sans bureaucratic hoops. 1. Get dressed up in your fanciest clothes 2. Pick up and throw away trash 3. Shop in person 4. Eat in restaurants 5. Drink in bars and cafes 5. Work from the office 6. Go to the movies, theater and museums 7. Visit other neighborhoods 8. Pay the bus fare when you ride 9. Interact with people, from neighbors to visitors 10. Call the police or 311 when you need something addressed 11. Attend Board of Supervisors meetings and add your voice to the comments sfbos.org/regularly-sche… this is just my list. agree or disagree, that's fine. what would you add?

“The one thing I’ve learned in all 14 days of leading this city is that this is not a bureaucracy that moves quickly,” Lurie said, adding, “We cannot continue to do things the same way they’ve been done because we’re going to get the same results.” sfchronicle.com/opinion/editor…

@EricaJSandberg @DannySauter @Walgreens no, he is not claiming credit. i was really hoping he had magical persuasion skills for the rest of the 11 stores, particularly the one on Ocean Ave ☹️

did district supervisor @DannySauter really have some magical persuasion abilities in the decision? I have my doubts. per @Walgreens, this is was about money. "We are conducting an ongoing analysis of the financial performance of every Walgreens store. After review of the current financial performance at this location, we are pleased to confirm our commitment to continuing operations at this store."

Voting season is upon us! For those living in SF / Bay Area, each time I recommend the @GrowSF voting guide as a great starting point for the local elections - it is long, detailed, educational, and sensible. O(~hundreds) of votes matter on local elections growsf.org/voter-guide/

Grow SF are newbies who shouldn’t do endorsements if they expect everyone to agree. Check out @TheMarinaTimes endorsements, which have been 98% accurate for over a decade. And if you disagree, I won’t block you 🙄👇marinatimes.com/marina-times-c…

Come on @GrowSF — if you can’t handle @spencercamp who agrees with you most of the time disagreeing with you once, you’re in the wrong business. I’ve done political endorsements for over a decade for @TheMarinaTimes and welcome hearing from those who feel differently.
