“I will not in good conscience send young men and women off to die on foreign battlefields,” said Joe Kent, former director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, at a Catholic gala this week. “We're at a critical juncture in the war in Iran; we need to let our leaders hear that we do not support this war,” he added. Kent made the remarks at the annual Catholic Prayer for America Gala in Washington, DC, where he was asked why he resigned from his position on 17 March.

Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil
‼️‼️‼️🚨Joe Kent on why Israel needs America for wars: 🚨“I think Israel could defend itself. I think it could conduct limited attacks on its borders. 🚨I think it could continue to carry out impressive targeted assassinations against its opponents. 🚨What it could not do is overthrow entire governments. It could not do something like the Iran war, the Iraq war. 🚨It could not aggressively destabilize Syria. Those big, heavy regime change efforts that America has been involved in, Israel could not do them on its own. 🚨That’s why we come back to the Israeli lobby that is so powerful, so strong, and so aggressive.” 🚨Israel’s stranglehold of Washington is being exposed…

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

youtube.com/watch?v=nvLVo6… During the Six-Day War, the USS Liberty, a United States Navy intelligence ship, was attacked in international waters, leaving 34 American servicemen dead and 174 wounded. Decades later, survivors continue to speak out about what they witnessed — and what they believe has never been fully told.

💔 The Weight of Pain Pain doesn’t disappear with time. It just changes shape. On June 8, 1967, 34 American servicemen lost their lives aboard the USS Liberty. In a single afternoon, families across the United States received news that would divide their lives into two chapters: before that day… and everything after it. For the men who died, the pain ended that day. For the families, it began. Parents buried sons. Wives became widows. Children grew up without fathers they barely had the chance to know. And for the survivors — the shipmates who lived through the attack — the pain became something different. A memory that never fully fades. The sound of explosions. The sight of friends who never made it home. The knowledge that history often moves on faster than the people who lived through it. Pain leaves questions behind. Pain demands remembrance. The 34 are not statistics. They are names. They are lives. They are stories that were cut short in the Mediterranean on that summer day in 1967. If there is any meaning to that loss, it is this: their sacrifice must never disappear into silence. Honor the 34. Stand with the Survivors. Preserve the Truth. 🇺🇸 “It Was Pure Hell, and they committed War Crimes.” — Phil Tourney recalls from the USS Liberty Attack "We didn't even get any help from our government for 17 hours". "We all became Doctors, doing everything we could." Moe Shafer, USS Liberty Survivor. Nearly six decades later, when USS Liberty survivors speak about June 8, 1967, the emotion is still there. Not rehearsed. Not political. Just raw memory from men who lived through something most people cannot imagine. The attack lasted nearly two full hours. Jets strafed the ship. Napalm burned the decks. Then the torpedo struck — lifting the ship out of the water before slamming it back down. Many sailors believed in that moment the USS Liberty was about to roll over and sink. But the ordeal didn’t stop there. Survivors describe torpedo boats circling the ship and firing at anything that moved. Life rafts were destroyed as they were lowered into the water — the very rafts meant to carry the most seriously wounded sailors if the ship had to be abandoned. Inside the ship, chaos turned into desperate courage. With 174 men wounded, the crew became medics, nurses, and surgeons for one another. The ship’s doctor — himself gravely wounded — reportedly treated others and saved countless lives that night. When survivors tell the story today, it isn’t just about the attack. It’s about the suffering they saw, the friends they lost, and the way ordinary sailors fought to keep each other alive. Some memories never fade. Honor the 34. Stand with the Survivors. Preserve the Truth. Learn more at ussliberty.org

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

So NASA just quietly announced their long planned trip back to the Moon with Artemis II has had to be cancelled. NASA weren’t even landing on the moon with Artemis either, just pretending to fly around it - unlike the 1960’s when they could land there for fun. Please take all the time you need.

Interview: War, Stagflation, and the Rise of Gold @TonyArterburn (DavidKnight.gold) warns that the gold and silver markets are showing signs of structural breakage—five-week payment delays, physical bottlenecks, and pricing whiplash that suggest major banks are squeezing smaller dealers while paper markets diverge from reality.

🚨APMEX Unilaterally Hikes Silver Spot Price to $80.59 on Saturday Night! 🚨 With markets closed, SilverTrade readers have asked us why silver spot prices are rising- specifically APMEX's silver spot price which just "jumped" to $80.59/oz. ⚡️ Why is APMEX unilaterally raising their silver spot price on a Saturday night? The markets are closed, so Apmex can’t acquire any silver to replace the ounces they are selling to retail customers over the weekend. Typically major bullion dealers go long an estimated number of ounces across the metals ahead of each Friday's close (for example, 100,000 oz silver, 10,000 oz gold, 1,000 oz platinum, 200 oz palladium etc) either via long positions on the futures market ahead of the close, or by placing physical metal inventory orders beyond their hedged metal position. Once a bullion dealer sells through its entire long position it obtained going into the weekend, they become exposed to risk of silver prices rising immediately upon Sunday night's Globex open. APMEX raising their spot silver price by $1.40 on a Saturday night means that they have already sold through their entire weekend hedged position, and any further ounces they sell are at spot risk of silver immediately gapping up on Sunday night’s open. We have spoken to the top bullion dealers who report MASSIVE silver sales this weekend. We are assuming that Apmex didn’t prepare properly for this weekend- they failed to hedge or source enough oz of silver prior to Friday’s close to make it though Saturday- much less the whole weekend. Having already sold through its entire hedged silver position heading into the weekend, APMEX raised their ask spot price by $1.40/oz to attempt to hedge their spot risk. SD Bullion is still selling silver tonight at a spot of $79.34. So why did APMEX raise their silver spot price? APMEX' $80.59 silver spot price tonight is a unilateral decision of the price point they are willing to part with physical silver at this weekend. It reflects extreme uncertainly and concern amongst one of the largest bullion dealers in the industry that any further ounces of silver metal they sell prior to 6pm EST Sunday night may not be able to be replaced at anywhere near where silver spot prices closed Friday evening.
