@EdKrassen Actually, he is the most competent president ever. His negotiating techniques are way beyond the understanding of many people who believe they know how the world works, while they are actually ignorant of the truth.

Hello @ElonMusk you were once going save the world and abolish poverty, instead you have insured the deaths of 100s of thousands. And for what? Your own greed and hubris. You had such potential. Squandered. You are not Iron Man, that’s for sure.  You are not a hero. You are kind of a monster. “The seven-hundred-plus thousand that have been estimated to have died at the end of a year since the U.S.A.I.D. closure comes from a couple of different sources. One is a Boston University estimate. A separate one comes from an international study published in The Lancet, looking at the impact U.S.A.I.D. had over the past twenty years—saving ninety-two million lives—and projecting, based on the cuts that have occurred, how many deaths have occurred, and they came up with a very similar number.” newyorker.com/news/the-new-y…

@marwilliamson For the record, the parasite comes from shit. If your food prep folks wash their damn hands and wear gloves this problem doesn't exist. Coincidentally this is policy everywhere food is prepared and has fuck all to do with DOGE.

The severe diarrhea outbreak across the U.S. should surprise no one. It’s exactly the kind of thing we were warned about. DOGE heavily targeted agencies related to food and agriculture, significantly impacting federal food monitoring aid and inspection capacities. This diarrhea is caused by a parasite in food. What did people think was going to happen? DOGE didn't just cut fat; it cut into the bones. @elonmusk we have a problem here. Your boys knew nothing. Perhaps you'll contribute to much needed emergency medical services, particularly in rural communities where hospitals are becoming overwhelmed.

Not much of a friend you are. You didn't offer to pay for it. You didn't start a go fund me. You didn't help him stay healthy so he wouldn't need the mri. You provide no details so we can have compassion. You comolain incessantly and offer no solutions. You are a waste of a friend, good riddance to you.

Insurance denied my friend’s MRI last month. Doctor ordered it. Said it was medically necessary. Insurance said they needed more documentation. Doctor sent more documentation. Insurance said they needed a peer to peer review. Peer to peer happened. Insurance denied it again. My friend paid $2,400 out of pocket. The person who denied it was not a doctor. Was not reviewed by a doctor. Was an algorithm trained to find reasons to say no. This is legal. This is standard practice. This happens 50,000 times a day in America.

Most clinical psychologists don’t prescribe medications. But I do support patients who benefit from their use. Relentlessly. Pill-shaming is ableism. It derives from poor science literacy and pseudoscientific health ideology in the anti-psychiatry movement and alternative medicine industry. There's no shame in accepting medication. No one deserves to experience stigma.
Redkin@FiveRedkin

@jonathanstea @Ninjakittyebt @ACsomenumbers @DrAnnieHickox You drug, harm, and label people with junk chemicals to damage them and keep them that way, making money from it. Then, when those who trusted you rebel, you activate the "stigma."

@astronomy89 @omgsidewalks Interesting point! Curious extent of the logic (purely hypothetical here) Does that mean a fetus doesn’t have the right to life, since its development requires the labor of another?

@NoahRevoy Because too many men (NOT ALL I KNOW) seem to think if they put the coins in the sex falls out. And we feel that pressure.

Online influencer woman: "If you want a better sex life with your wife, show her more non-sexual affection." Men in the comments: "So if I become more affectionate, will that help us have more sex?" Woman: "You cannot do it to have more sex." The same thing happens with other similar advice. Woman: "Give your wife a back massage." Men: "Will that help our sex life?" "Maybe. But never give her a massage because you want more sex. Do it just because." Or: "Go on regular date nights." "Will that improve our intimacy?" "Maybe, but never do it to improve your intimacy." Can you see why many men feel like they are being given contradictory instructions? I am not talking about expecting sex immediately after a hug, a massage, or a date night. Like it is a button you push to get sex. That is a different conversation. If these things are recommended because they help couples create a healthier sexual relationship, why are we uncomfortable saying to do them to have more/better sex?
