There are so many amazing photos from the event. One of the most meaningful was this short video I took though before the event even started. I was honestly panicking a bit. Maybe not panicking but totally spacing out when @ShopDevAlliance members showed up the morning of #BrightworkVol01 and asked how they could help. Seriously can’t even express how meaningful it is to show up to an event with people who are just ready to roll up their sleeves and dig in. @dear_trudence and I get a lot of praise, and it’s true we worked super hard leading up to all this, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have help the day of and the days preceding to make it happen. Thank you so much @brendamarienyc, @AlfalfaAnne, @Gabbie_rea, @anthonyvita, @JordanFinners, @SimonGeldner, @HardeepNijher, @heysandy801, @baileyberro, @cfetter, @mirvise, @1danielbeck, Charles, Matt, @PrakharS96, @ThreeAcres, @rishisamuel, and I know I’m forgetting more but thank you all so so much for being there and making sure Brightwork happened for our community.

I had a vision

Ribbon isn’t going anywhere, but we’re focused on shoptin we’re already live with brands like Ridge, Salt & Stone, Aviator Nation, Madhappy (duh) and dozens of others.

the hardest products to quit are the ones that almost work. ribbon had real customers, real value, and just enough progress to keep us believing. the business still required more force than the opportunity could support. shoptin came from finally accepting what "almost" was telling us.

@0x15f definitely. Ribbon is still running and we have merchants the live by it but it was definitely more. a case of building something that sounds like it solves a problem versus building something that solves a problem

we spent most of 2025 trying to make Ribbon work. it taught us a lot about Shopify, merchants, and the difference between polite interest and real pull. those lessons led us to Shoptin. today, we’re launching publicly.
