Inflation is once again at 2% Mortgage interest rates are at a 20 year-high Unemployment is hovering around 6% 1 in 7 Canadian is accessing food banks Homes are unaffordable for young families. The government can't account for billions in COVID payments. Crime is on the rise in every city. Our life expectancy is declining. Taxes are suffocating us. People are resorting to MAID because they can't afford medicine. The waiting period for surgeries is over 2 months. There's an opioid epidemic. People are living in tents. Insurance is through the roof (literally). The Chinese are interfering in our elections. We can't send Christmas cards via the post. But today in the House of Commons, Canada's finance minister bragged about giving Canadians a $0.47 tax break on a rotisserie chicken. Our country is an absolute shit show.

Friendly reminder: Trudeau's "tax break" costs 31 million people $322 each to give $250 to 18.7 million. He’s said: - He can’t do basic math - He doesn’t think about monetary policy - He believes the budget will balance itself - He isn’t worried about the economy We're f**ked.

It would seem The NDP govt lied about, or is at the very least, picking and choosing who gets compensation for those affected by the decision. When it came time to pay up, they quietly backed out leaving Doug McMann with nothing. “I don’t want to give the impression that we are blaming the First Nation. It’s the furthest thing from the truth. The land has been declared title for them. It’s theirs. They need reparations and funding. With #UNDRIP on the horizon, every single Canadian land owner is at risk to this situation.
