Politicians could fix this issue - for free - in a sitting week. An amendment to the sex discrimination act to reinstate the correct definitions of woman & man, plus clarifying that the ordinary meaning of sex is biological, would fix this issue. The choice is simple: fall behind the rest of the world while becoming an ideological laughing stock, or crossing party lines to fix bad legislation & ensure no more Australian citizens are punished for acknowledging reality. Any politician who says this issue is too difficult to fix is either malicious or incompetent.

Spot on. Testosterone wrecks female pelvic tissues! they need estrogen, and without it you get atrophy, incontinence, and prolapse in your 20s. It’s not mysterious; it’s predictable. Props to Elaine and the physios treating the fallout from this rushed experiment. Biology isn’t optional.
Elaine Miller | Venus Envy@GussieGrips

An increasing number of females who have hormonal and surgical gender interventions are speaking up about symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction. It’s deeply worrying and physio needs to start building a workforce to help this novel population.

The number of men who don't see women as fully human can be measured by their indifference to trans-identified males invading women's spaces. 'What's the harm?' they shrug. 'Who's it hurting?' Women. It's hurting women. And the essence of misogyny is thinking that doesn't count.

I am absolutely devastated Men who claim to be women have more rights than actual women in Australia. It is women who are being discriminated against, not the men who claim to be us. But in a sense, nothing has changed: we will all wake up tomorrow & men will still not be women.

Starmer’s just appointed James Murray as the new Health Secretary the man now running the entire NHS. And this is how he defines a woman when a actual woman challenges him: Woman: “Do you think it’s a bit strange that you’re a man telling me, a woman, what a woman is?” Murray: “I think a woman is an adult female and a trans woman.” Woman: “An adult female… and an adult male?” Murray: “You and I disagree on this.” Let that sink in. The bloke in charge of women’s wards, maternity care, single-sex spaces, rape crisis services, and NHS safeguarding can’t or won’t admit that women are adult human females. Full stop. This isn’t nuance. It’s dangerous ideological capture at the highest level of healthcare. How the hell is he going to protect women’s rights and safety when he thinks biological males can be women? This appointment is a disgrace. Women’s health and dignity are not up for debate or “disagreement.” We’re watching you, Secretary Murray. Closely.

The Full Federal Court has handed down its judgement in Giggle v Tickle. In a shock to women across the country - Sall Grover not only lost her appeal, the Court set aside the original finding of indirect discrimination and replaced it with direct discrimination, upholding Tickle's cross-appeal. The damages were doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. It’s important to note the Court expressly said it was only applying the Sex Discrimination Act as it is written- it is "not empowered to give effect to its own view" about whether that law is desirable. In 2013, @JuliaGillard’s @AustralianLabor government amended the Sex Discrimination Act- stripping the meaning out of "man" and "woman" and adding gender identity as a protected attribute to be pitted against biological sex. Today's outcome is proof of what those amendments have done: women are left with no meaningful rights or recognition under the Sex Discrimination Act - a bitter irony, given that protecting women was the very purpose of the Act under our commitment to CEDAW. In my opinion, this is a verdict on the law, not on Sall. The judges found that the law - as that government amended it - left them no other conclusion. These amendments must be repealed. The Sex Discrimination Act must once again recognise biological reality and protect women's right to single-sex spaces. What a dark and devastating day for Australian women and girls. #RepealTheSDA2013 #IStandWithSallGrover #GigglevTickle #Auspol

WTAF is going on? This is beyond belief. To lie about voting but then avoid registering in order presumably to insulate oneself from council tax or false residency allegations. These were not mistakes but calculated decisions, which require explanation.
Alex Armstrong@Alexarmstrong

Polanski is a total clown, so clearly just in it to get famous. Seemingly another lie told to gullible Green voters: A spokesman that he had cast a postal vote in Hackney publicly told the east London borough’s mayoral candidate: “You have my vote.” HE HADN’T EVEN REGISTERED.

OJ is wrong. This is a cause for pride. The Rainbow Map was created by ILGA; a group co-founded by the paedophile Ian Dunn. The UK scores low because we refuse to introduce Gender Self-ID and ban sterilising kids with blockers. The UK is showing Europe the way forward. Again. 👇

A cause for national shame. This is the Rainbow Map for LGBTI+ rights across Europe. Until 2015, the UK was top. We've now collapsed down the rankings - and are the worst in Western Europe. We're now near Albania.

@MsPollyClark I'm blocked by Edinburgh zoo! They put out some publicity material a while back indicating that they don't know what sex is and I asked them how their breeding programme was going. They did not like that.

Sure @Keir_Starmer don’t get involved with war in Iran but here’s the huge issue you’ve totally underestimated: you promised to put the IRGC on the terrorist list and you didn’t. You recently promised again and still haven’t. It is key to how we perceive your “decency and respect” and hope for “a stronger, fairer Britain” to quote your speech this morning. This is not political advice, it’s a suggestion as we are talking about a human rights issue: if you want us to believe that you and your party care about human values, the quicker you put the IRGC on the terrorist list, shut down the IRI funded terror centres around Britain, shut the embassy of the Islamic Republic and freeze their assets, the sooner you’d convince us. If not - from the standpoint of millions - it looks like you, and many on the left currently attacking Iranians supporting freedom for the people of Iran, are standing with literal terrorists. Our country is already going down a very dark path with rising antisemitism and - because of the Islamic Republic spreading their hate - rising Islamophobia. The time to act is now. Not just for your own political survival but for the whole world. On Jan 9th here with @mattfrei when news of the massacres was just filtering in and visibly traumatised when the number of dead was thought to be 12,000. The correct estimate is on my pinned tweet.

Darlington Nursing Union@DarlingtonUnion·
BREAKING: Health Secretary @wesstreeting has agreed to meet the Darlington nurses after new EHRC guidance on single‑sex spaces is published. This comes after their landmark tribunal win in January, supported by the Christian Legal Centre, which found the NHS had unlawfully harassed them with a trans-affirming policy. Mr Streeting had met the nurses in October 2024 after saying publicly he was 'horrified' by their case. In a letter sent this week to Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union, Mr Streeting confirmed that he will meet the nurses once the EHRC’s revised Code of Practice has been laid before Parliament. Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union, welcomed the response but said accountability must now be matched by action. She said: “We are pleased that the Secretary of State has committed to meeting us again, but it should never have taken years of legal action, national media exposure and a tribunal victory for our dignity at work to be recognised. Wes Streeting has repeatedly said he supports us and believes in single‑sex spaces based on biological sex. We now expect that support to be reflected in clear, enforceable guidance across the NHS.” Andrea Williams, Chief Executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said: “The Tribunal in the Darlington case confirmed what should have been obvious all along: women should not be forced to undress in front of men. By ruling that the policy that allowed men into the women’s changing room has also exposed every NHS Trust across the country to legal challenge, as similar policies are believed to be in place nationally. “The Health Secretary’s acknowledgement of their treatment is important, but women working across the NHS need certainty, not delay. The law is clear, and guidance must now reflect that reality, so this injustice is never repeated.” See more with @CConcern and in the @Telegraph christianconcern.com/ccpressrelease… telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/05/0…
