Hay @joelcompiles I work with a company that would LOVE to work with you! Check @ai_licia , there are ALOT of vTubers and other streamers that would LOVE what they do!!

I would say YouTube does need to make changes to their algorithm for live game streaming! Their long form is about perfect, but finding live game streamers can be VERY tedious unless you already have their name! I have lost count how many times people have said to me, how have I not come across your stream before now!!

“If YouTube wanted to dominate, they should be more like Twitch…” What do you mean if they want to dominate? They already do. YouTube generates 3x more live watch time than Twitch with 60% fewer streamers. They did $60+ BILLION in 2025… Twitch did $1.5–2 billion… and still isn’t profitable. YouTube has: • Discovery • Search • Recommended feeds • Multiple monetization paths • Better Cuts • More stability Twitch has… • You already knowing who to watch And that’s the disconnect. Creators say they want to leave Twitch because it sucks, but then turn around and ask YouTube to become Twitch. The YouTube system isn’t broken, their approach is. They think the goal is: “Go live → get subs → get donations” Instead of: “Make content people actually want to watch… then monetize the attention.” You don’t need better chat features and YouTube doesn't have to be Twitch to succeed…

Please do not label yourself a vtuber until you do either of these: Stream on a platform post short/long term content on a platform Calling yourself a vtuber is not fair to those who are a vtuber and put in the work. PS bots are mainly this is for lol x.x

Just applied for the @Twitch front page for next month for Autism Awareness month AND for my 5 year Twitch Partner Anniversary! I have been denied for every front page application since February 2025, and I REALLY hope that we can commemorate this HUGE day on the front page! 🙌

A tip I would give for newish streamers that need gear! I have used Klarma and Affirm to purchase items over time...BUT...the interest rate is high, so I used stream income to pay off those micro loans early, but still get me the gear I needed for my stream sooner! personal choice though
