Have you ever wanted to play a daily weather game similar to wordle/geoguessr? Introducing StormGuessr by @baskinROBBBINS This game introduces 5 daily questions regarding historical tornadoes, wind and hail events and you test your knowledge to each question regarding location! Calling all weather nerds, meteorologists, storm chasers and enthusiasts. Try to beat your competition daily by getting as close as possible to the location. Think you know tornado tracks? Try to draw the tornado track of the given prompt to a location. This game is honestly incredible and it’s become a staple I play at work / free time. Feel free to share and make an account! Share your scores to social media to see how you’re beating all the nerds!

@TorCASTWX Thank you for playing and for the feedback! This is a mode I actually had in beta testing that I decided to not release yet as I wanted to confirm trivia mode was functional. That said, I am planning to release it very soon 👀

Hey Jason, really enjoying StormGuessr — the historical cases and learning aspect are excellent. One idea: What if you added a mode where players submit their own forecast for the next day (location, mode, intensity, etc.) and then get scored on verification? Could be a fun “test your forecast skills” twist while keeping the strong educational focus. Keep it up!

Played a full game last night before bed, I thought my tornado trivia knowledge was bad, but I surprised myself! Only one I got caught up on was the 1974 Guin F5 Draw Track. Stillwater and Chapman were obvious, Spencer I had to rethink to a WeatherBrains podcast with a retired SPC met, and Hawley was a no-brainer cause of the date. I do have a few suggestions if I may DM you?
