The funniest part it is not the duty of pollution observers to prevent anyone from movement. It is the duty of the officials at the polling station and the security personnel to check such activities. New rules are being arbitrarily set by the @ECISVEEP @BJP4India @AITCofficial @WBPolice

Kamal Haasan couldn’t wait even a few minutes in the queue; he jumped the line and voted. These people deliver grand sermons on reels for the public, but in real life, they’re the biggest offenders.

Why ‘Logical discrepancy’ didn’t happen in other states and it’s happening in West Bengal only? Why SIR was not conducted in Assam? 19 lakh voters were found illegal in Assam, did they vote this time or not? How many illegals were found in Bihar by ECI? — Former CEC SY Qureshi

🚨 Indian Embassy Official Accused of Harassing Fellow Indian in Rome Shocking behavior reported from Rome,an Indian official allegedly misusing authority and intimidating another Indian citizen. This kind of arrogance and “VIP culture” is exactly what people are tired of. You’re representing a country, not a personal empire. Act like it. Accountability matters,no matter where you are.

You should know when you plan a rally and look at your police. Simply pathetic.
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: On his Viral Video, Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan says, "... The woman was very angry and spoke harshly. It wasn’t just one woman — many people were upset. I said, look, protests happen everywhere. You’ve seen big demonstrations before, even highways blocked. Whenever rallies reach Mumbai, traffic jams occur. This is not the first time. Across the country, protests happen... Yes, there was traffic congestion. She approached police but felt ignored, so became more aggressive. I believe the rally caused about an hour’s delay, which troubled people. But there were thousands of women present, and we asked them to let vehicles pass. Still, some threw bottles, which was wrong. I apologised to her and others, saying the road would clear in 10 minutes. We told her not to overreact or use foul language. In the end, I said sorry again, and assured that we will be more careful..."

The Embassy of India 🇮🇳 in Kathmandu has issued a formal advisory outlining the strict regulations for Indian-registered vehicles entering Nepal 🇳🇵 . Under current laws, Indian vehicles (motorcycles and four-wheelers) are permitted to stay in Nepal for a maximum of 30 days in a calendar year. For short-term cross-border visits to local markets, owners must obtain a "Day Pass" at the check post, which requires the vehicle to return to India the same day. For stays longer than one day, a daily customs duty (Bhansar) must be paid at the border. The Embassy and Nepal Customs have warned that overstaying the 30-day annual limit, failing to surrender the Day Pass upon exit, or entering through unauthorized routes is a serious offense. Any vehicle found in violation of these rules will be seized by Nepalese authorities and put up for public auction under the Customs Act. Source : Stock Nepal

Tensubam Lamyanba Meitei (23), a resident of Imphal East, was arrested yesterday by Manipur Police @manipur_police in connection with highly provocative and inflammatory content posted on his social media platforms that had the potential to disturb public order. He is also allegedly involved in several attacks on Kuki-Zo villages that were burned down and resulted in the deaths of many innocent civilians, including the killing of unarmed civilians in the Khamenlok area of Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi District, on June 12–14, 2023. In footage that circulated online, he appears to celebrate while stealing a Kuki-Zo gas cylinder. He is also seen with sniper rifles and AK-series rifles that were reportedly stolen from a government armory. The question is: why did it take Manipur Police @manipur_police so long to arrest this alleged perpetrator when his footage had already gone viral worldwide on various social media platforms? What about Kourounganba Khuman, the Arambai Tenggol chief, against whom the NIA issued a lookout notice in 2023 based on substantial evidence? Despite this, he continues to appear on various social media platforms as a chief guest and is seen advising his cadres to prepare for war. How about their alleged chief architect, Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh, and MP Leishemba Sanajaoba @MaharajaManipur? Will Manipur Police @manipur_police act in accordance with the law of the land, rather than targeting only minor figures in this volatile situation in Manipur? @narendramodi @AmitShah @rashtrapatibhvn @nitin_gadkari @JPNadda @tarunchughbjp @KreatelyMedia @FrontalForce @LokBhavManipur @BhallaAjay26

Guwahati has an annual rainfall of around 1750mm. Yesterday, in less than 24 hours, parts of the city, like Khanapara received 215 mm of rainfall, which is like 12-13% of the city’s annual! As climate changes fiercely, we need an aggressive & proactive policy against flash flood
🔴All India Weather@allindiaweather

Just look at northeast India rainfall during next 14 days. Looks scary. Other parts of india will also experience thunderstorms anytime in next 15 days. Spacially, Kerala, Karnataka, south Maharashtra Telangana, Odisha, Andhra, West Bengal, Bihar will witness thunderstorms before 5 May. Remain Watchful. Image courtesy meteologix.
