@joshjeje2 He has been fighting poverty ever since he was a high school student.
Some of you know very little about him and even that little, you want to distort!
It is my belief that countries like Uganda have their first peaceful transfer of presidential power after having their first “normal” leader who accepts one way or another to step down from power and let way to progress.
Unfortunately, over time we have learnt that Museveni is not in fact a normal person.
We have unfortunately learnt that his son, Muhoozi is also not a normal person.
(Not in a good way)
They will not let anyone take from them the power they have stolen. People need to uproot it from them.
Uganda needs a normal, sane person to lead it, then we will see positive change.
Well done, my brother @norbertmao.
I’ve always known you’re no pushover, and anyone who dares treat you as one will surely face a humiliating pushback. As expected, you spiced up the speakership race and gave your colleagues a real run for their money. Asante.
I have seen mixed reactions from a section of the public regarding my decision to nominate the Mawogola North MP Aine Sodo Kaguta. I understand the backlash and I absorb it in good faith. But well here is why I did so; my move was sarcastic and intended to address the issue of nepotism which has largely characterized the NRM regime.
A single family has dominated all the arms of government (cabinet, judiciary and executive) and they now decide how these other arms should be constituted. They have demonstrated that they can decide who becomes Speaker or Chief Justice yet these two arms of government are meant to be autonomous. It is against this background that I decided that Hon. Sodo, a member of the ‘First family’ equally takes up the position of the Deputy Speaker since their family lust for authority and power is insatiable.
To comrades who have not understood my move, please be guided that this was entirely sarcastic and that can be judged from the diction that I used to drive my point. Thank you!

You know what’s funny? The apologists of a government that has never said anything or asked any questions regarding the torture of their citizen are in all the comments saying all sorts of BS. Thank you @usgov@StateDept for caring more than our governments that should be responsible for the safety of all their citizens. I don’t take this and the statement you put out after our rescue for granted.
Today we launched the manifesto of our Speakership candidate @Hon_MwiruPaul, whose candidature is firmly anchored on the rule of law, restoration of institutional order & strengthening Parliament as a democratic institution that serves all Ugandans with fairness & accountability.
@DavidLRubongoya But honestly,do you think those mediocre candidates of yours had a chance against Anita even if they were allowed to contest?
You just talk out of ignorance. She could have blocked them for her personal reasons, but surely they couldn't beat Anita.
In the months past, the New Vision would never admit, let alone publish that Anita Among had blocked the NUP, FDC, and other independent candidates from running against her. Instead, they praised her and always found reason to defend her and the EC in these schemes. Now, they can even interview those blocked women and make it a front page story. Indeed, power is transient, and when it moves, it moves. I hope those who wield and abuse power today have picked some lessons!
@edward_kamugira Is he a black man like you, lwaki mwebaka nyo. Gwe webuuze bameka indigenous Ugandans abali in USA naye nga they can't be in any big office in USA rather than being in Army kuba worldwide USA ekozesa mawanga magate in army
This is the reason why I will always praise Gen IDDI AMIN DADA, He would have not allowed this nonsense to happen in his country. A foreigner from India to be a member of parliament, as if there's a Ugandan with any position in Indian government.
@DaudiKabanda But what do you gain if Nameere is removed from parliament?
The person(party)that will gain will be NUP.
You are playing childish politics.
The same government that loathes Judicial Independence and integrity are singing praises of Justice Egonda Ntende, in a special sitting to honor him, for doing and being that!!
So you wanted Mr Mao to chew a goat , Didn’t you also chew someone’s husband and are you not the one threatening hell on every Ugandan. Sometimes when you want to bad mouth someone have a reflection of yourself. Last but not least why do you feel entitled to the speakership position as if you also never harshly took it from someone 🤷♂️
Lukwago is back at his office as a lawyer at lukwago and advocate law firm.
This is what leadership is alot about, you serve for sometime, then leave for others to serve too and you go back to where you came from.
This is what it's better to enter active politics when you have a job.
Congratulations Erisa Lukwago.
Dear, we are finally here! Jamali Ayagalachi, NUP MP for Bukooli North, shares this special moment with his wife shortly after being sworn in at Parliament.

Do you see anything to smile about? M7 has single handedly sunk Uganda and brought pain, misery, uncertainty and hopelessness amongst Ugandans.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my brother, Chairman @chairtoyota, for taking the time to stand with me during my swearing-in today and for his unwavering support throughout the years. Your presence truly meant a lot to me.
@AAgather Get a life,dear.
You will die of envy soon!
You clearly know the context of that slogan but you choose to go cheap as you have always done!
Have you realised that your face is "wrinkling"?
Yesterday when I heard of the new slogan I said, “oh oh. If even the sleep that our parents have been grateful for the last 40 years is taken away what will we remain with?” Because the “no sleep” is more likely to be for the citizens of all the slogans we have had before are anything to go by.
