@PacheduZW You're talking about 2027,which is so far off??? Mnangagwa is self-destructing faster than dry grass on fire. Cyril visits. Mzembi gets bail. Can't you see the pattern? He's an overconfident man who thinks victory is now secured. Watch the next coming few weeks

We can only wish we had a team in the Ankole world then we would share what was said at the farm. What we do know for a fact is Cyril cannot save ED even if he wanted to. 1) By December 2027 he wont be ANC President. 2) He is under serious pressure over Phalaphala with judgement due next week. 3) He is in a very fragile power sharing with DA and others. We doubt Mr Ramaphosa can defend CAB3 publicly and fly only for that. Whatever the reason was it was more important than an endorsement. #Noto2030

@WillarShoko Curious if Amazon has approached Zim yet. If yes, could be online around 2028.

@KhalifKairo That's an Air Zim plane. Bought in '81 and this was in 1995. So zero ties to Rhodesia.

@BigMamo_ There is a batch in our production line that’s proving to have been defective. We keep getting sporadic complaints. Seems that batch doesn’t operate well outside Zim. We are making efforts to recall them back home where they thrive with the gun-vosters.

You are speaking to someone who speaks fluently in five languages which is already more than can be said for most of the people this kind of “gotcha” is typically aimed at impressing. The argument that using English to critique colonialism somehow invalidates the critique is the intellectual equivalent of telling someone they have no right to complain about a theft because they are using the thief's road to walk to court. The road is not the point: the theft is! But more importantly, this question is a classic case of someone being shown the moon and staring intently at the finger. The substance of what is being said, the history, the evidence, the structural analysis, none of that is engaged with, because engaging with it would require actual thought. Instead you have fixated on the medium, as though the language in which an argument is made determines whether the argument is true. Next time, engage with the argument or do not. But do not mistake the performance of a clever question for the possession of a clever mind. They are rarely the same thing.

@Farida_N how do you explain using English and Social Media to vent your resentment for Colonialism? Resentment and the African Condition: An Inquiry  Chielozona Eze “[…] I argue that the dominant ideas of culture in Africa have been largely the product of reactionary stances to European conquest and domination. These reactions rather than be seen as forms of resistance, are instances of ressentiment, and, typical of feelings of ressentiment, they aim not at building viable societies, but at justifying one's social and cultural system by negating the world of the other. This dichotomous ethical approach to reality puts the African mind in an intellectual blind alley and hinders the taking of responsibilities by Africans[…] quod.lib.umich.edu/g/gefame/47615…

Elon Musk has posted 50 times about South Africa in just 7 days, and Zimbabweans are just as angry as he is. This is because they both desperately need South Africa to allow Starlink in. We all know that the Starlink constellation is the largest array of satellites in the world. However, even with all of those satellites, Starlink still needs to connect to internet data centres on the ground. The satellites have to beam the data down to a ground station, which then sends the data across the internet using undersea cables. This is where South Africa comes in as one of the most connected countries on the continent with seven of the major undersea cables landing in Cape Town and Durban. These are the cables connecting Africa’s internet directly to Europe, Asia and the Americas. Because of this, Elon Musk wants to build a Starlink ground station in South Africa because it would ensure he gets fast, stable, high capacity routes straight into the global internet. Beyond the cables, South Africa also has world-class data centres alongside Tier 3+ infrastructure, which means high uptime, power redundancy, cooling and security. NAPAfrica, one of the largest internet exchange points on the continent is also in South Africa, with facilities in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. So, it should be clear that Starlink in SA is not about selling satellite dishes to households. It’s about plugging into the continent’s internet backbone and using South Africa to build a solid launch pad for a robust infrastructure build. Elon Musk can turn on Starlink in every single country on the continent, but without South Africa, he reaches a dead end and can never get his service to work properly on the continent. This also explains why some Zimbabweans are livid about South Africa not letting Starlink in. The service will just not work well over there without South Africa’s participation. OK, but if this is so important to Starlink why is Elon Musk stubbornly refusing to adhere to straightforward BEE requirements? Well, as pointed above, South Africa’s value to Starlink is mostly as infrastructure backbone, not as a massive retail customer base. We all know he won’t get any meaningful number of customers in SA. There’s simply no market for it. Musk just wants to use South Africa to route through neighbouring countries, and to him, this is not worth giving up a 30% stake in South Africa’s operations. For Musk, the BEE thing is just a strategic business decision. All that racism talk is just a smokescreen for a hard-nosed business choice.

I spotted these Hongdu K-8 Karakorum jets earlier at Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport in Bulawayo, gearing up for today’s 46th Independence celebrations in Maphisa . Built for training and light attack, the K-8 packs a punch with speeds of up to 800 km/h.

How I became a Seventh Day Adventist… I grew up in a place called Esinenini in Hwange. Translation? Where the maids for rich people lived. They used to call us: “abantwana bama neni” And the lies we used to tell about our addresses to avoid ridicule😂😂😂🙌🏿🙌🏿 Derogatory. Embarrassing. You didn’t want that label on you. But that was my potion at the time. And we’ll come back to those Esinenini stories. some funny, some very embarrassing 😀 I had a friend - Michael Njetshe. We did everything together: Walked to school Shared meals Played soccer Played slug (if you know, you know 😅) His family? Seventh Day Adventist. Now Adventists in our area were serious people. Wednesday – midweek service Friday sunset – “Ukuhlangabeza iSabatha” Saturday evening – “Ukuvalelisa iSabatha” Me? I thought these people were running a full-time church shift system 😂 Michael kept inviting me. At first I was just there like: “I don’t know these songs, I don’t know these verses, but let me not disappoint my guy.” Then came the upgrade: “Come to church on Sabbath.” I said yes, out of curiosity and loyalty. First Sabbath I walked in: There was a ladies’ choir at the front. 🔥🔥🔥 I had NEVER heard voices like that in my life. They sang: “He paid a debt that I could not pay” I was finished. Finished spiritually. Finished emotionally. Also, respectfully noticing the choir members 👀😂 Second Sabbath….. I came back. Not even pretending anymore. I was HOOKED Third Sabbath…… Boom 💥 Crusade time. At the open Arena.(See pic below) Evangelist Solomon Maphosa. Tall man. Serious presence. Now different choirs from everywhere: Empumalanga, Railways, Cinderella, No2, No3… It was basically a spiritual concert tour 😂 But the preaching………… Different level. Topics I had NEVER heard before: State of the dead Second Coming Sabbath That hit different. Day 20 of the crusade. Altar call. No hesitation. I stood up and walked forward like: “Yeah, this is it.” Next day (Sabbath), baptised and it rained so hard that day. Felt like Heaven was agreeing. I remember a thought of: “ If Jesus cones right now, I’m walking straight into heaven with eyes closed” Just like that. now SDA 😀 That’s where the spiritual journey started. And like any real journey…….. Faith grew quietly. Away from the music. Away from the hype. Through real life. Lots of ups and down. Fast forward years later… I reconnect with Michael on Facebook. Informed he had left the SDA church. Me: “How do you invite me to SDA, then leave??” Him: “At least I introduced you to Jesus.” 😭😂 fair enough. Then he started cooking SDA: Ellen G White is this…….. Church members did that……. This church is lost…….. Me? Just listening quietly like: “Ah, so the recruiter has resigned.” 😀 He ended with: “I’ll fast and pray for you to see the light.” I said my goodbyes respectfully. But inside I was like: “My brother, I’m now a group admin in the WhatsApp group.” 😂 We haven’t spoken since. No bad blood. No loss. Just different paths. From Esinenini to faith to life. One thing I’ve learned: You may not control where you start. but you choose what shapes you. Who else found faith in the most unexpected way?

🚨 Mikel Arteta on a Zimbabwean fan sending a resignation letter after the Bournemouth loss (joking): 🗣️“I saw it, and I had a little smile to be honest. Football brings so much emotion, and sometimes fans react in funny ways like that. But we need them—we can’t accept the resignation! We need their support, especially in tough moments. Hopefully, we can give them something to celebrate very soon.”

@EmmanueI_zw I hear your point and I agree that zanu is not the same thing as Zimbabwe. But question is if colonialism is condemned for oppression and human rights abuses, should a postcolonial government not be held to the same moral standard? Where is the accountability?

We never discuss UK issues in our country, and you have no right or the autonomy to do so. Zimbabwe is going through what it is going through , and we people will find the solution independently. We didn't ask for help. Your government has no voice in this. Mind your own business
