Follow the money on this one. It is rotten to the core. The Pentagon just lent $620,000,000 to a tiny North Carolina startup called Vulcan Elements. The company is two years old. It had fewer than 50 employees. And three months before the deal was announced, Donald Trump Jr.’s venture firm quietly took a stake in it. Here is the part the administration tried to bury. Of the dozens of companies the Pentagon was weighing, Vulcan was the only deal initiated by a top White House aide. That aide was Peter Navarro, a close friend of Trump Jr. The order came down to move fast. One official put it plainly: The call came from the White House. We have to get this done. Staff worked late nights to push it through in weeks. Deals like this normally take many months of vetting. And when it closed, Vulcan’s valuation jumped from about 200 million dollars to roughly 2 billion. A windfall for the investors, including the president’s son. This is public money. Your money. Routed through the Pentagon to enrich the president’s family and their friends. The Bush administration’s own chief ethics lawyer called it corruption we pay for. And there is more coming. A drone parts company Trump Jr. holds a stake in is also under Pentagon review. This is not a one-off. It is a pattern. The president’s family is treating the federal Treasury like a private bank, and the bill lands on every taxpayer. propublica.org/article/donald…

A little remarked upon fact: The Biden administration prosecuted the guy who leaked Trump's tax records and he got sentenced to five years in prison. Imagine someone leaking something damaging about Biden and the Trump administration prosecuting them.

Spurs are fantastic. #Thunder are better - w/healthy all-star J-Dub & 20-pt/Ajay. The talk will (continue) to be about Wemby. But OKC will prevail in 12 months & win 2nd title in 3 yrs. I’ve said all season w/o Dub OKC wouldn’t beat SA. But they will in 360 days. #ClipAndSave

This is a 6-minute Republican video outlining Ken Paxton’s corruption. This now “unlisted” YouTube video was repeatedly sent out by the NRSC. It’s devastating.

What a bullshit post. The admission was from a plea deal obtained by the prosecutors. Far from ignoring it, they took it to trial and got a hung jury. The family did not want to go through another trial. So they negotiated a plea deal approved by the mom. What a soulless morally bereft sicko you are.

@JessicaTarlov @ettingermentum Jessica hund jury first trail, child won't testify in second. If he admitted it there's no need for child's testifying but that's what's needed so apparently he didn't admit to anything

For the record: Anyone calling Ken Paxton a “pedo protector” is lying and weaponizing a young boy’s s*xual abuse to advance their politics. Here are the facts: -In June 2025, Adam Hoffman was on trial for continuous s*x abuse of a child. OAG had 2 experienced prosecutors on the case. -This young child courageously testified to the horrific things that were done to him, which was severely traumatic for him. -The trial ended up in a hung jury, with 7 voting to convict and 5 voting not to. -The OAG prosecutors sought a retrial, wanting justice for the victim. -Understandably, the victim & his mother did not wish to endure the traumatic experience of testifying again. -The prosecution could have either: legally forced the family to comply in a new trial, which would be heartless, or seek as severe a punishment as they could without their key witness, which included jail time. -They did what was in the best interest of the child. Anyone trying to use this story against KEN PAXTON himself is simply using a young child’s abuse and trauma for political gain, and THAT is DISGUSTING.

@Law_and_Econ Ryan, what does this even mean? This is low. I’d think policy experts like yourself could respond in a way that’s more beneficial to the public discourse. What is this? Shameful.

@EWErickson You mean the guy who’s own staff turned him into the fbi? Who let off a guy who raped a pre-teen boy for years with a 30 day sentence? Adultery is babyshit alongside what this dude’s been doing. The other guy likes breakfast tacos and interprets the gospels as Jesus might.

Can someone get Sarah Longwell to rush out the new talking points on why her favorite Nazi’s infidelity is acceptable and Ken Paxton’s isn’t? Cause I’m in the camp that neither is, but Sarah is rooting for the Nazi.

Donald Trump’s endorsement of Mike Mazzei for Oklahoma Governor is a curse in disguise, a poison pill, a road to ruin, the kiss of death, and the nail in the coffin for his campaign. Trump is radioactive! Mazzei must be deluded, he should have declined the endorsement.

Nope. All the Spurs fans around us were great. Some harmless verbal jabs were exchanged but nothing close to Indy last year. Guy in front of us chanted “FLOPPER!” the entire game. It was impressive tbh. We saw the commotion from this as it happened. Figured it was a scuffle.
