@brantj76 @hasumpstuffedup No. I want consistency. Players get pinged all the time for taking more than one step. When most people are at a game, all they want is consistency in the umpires’ calls. Some are allowed to take longer than others to dispose of the ball. That is the greatest issue in HTB.

@hasumpstuffedup And that’s the problem exactly! The people that pay for umpires salaries- the public - see the way umpires are told to interpret these decisions as incorrect. He definitely had prior. Even two steps is prior. Also the fact he fumbled it initially is on the player.

@doqsm @hasumpstuffedup You can’t push in the side in marking contests either if you are not looking at the ball. The rules typically are based around sole intent for the footy. If you’re not looking at the footy a push in the side in a marking contest is also illegal.

You are allowed to block on the goalline, but not push or hold. Ump paid a push There's not much contact here, I wouldn't pay it myself but there is a pushing action, so I don't think anyone can say it's wrong I am relieved it didn't decide the game #AFLCrowsPower #showdown59

@vanzwali @hasumpstuffedup @peteguley We’re human. We can’t be that harsh when we play with an oblong shape ball that can bounce in any direction without adding rain. I get it but very tough to do that and how do you apply that at lower levels? Remember all laws apply to year 3 level in footy.

bullshit. basically rewarding a fumble. and he glanced back. he was caught fair and square. free kick 9 times out of 10. what about the non-advantage free kick shortly after. that would typically be brought back. first 3 qtrs umpires consistently paid soft frees both ways. then 4th qtr it changed.

If he does the he must handball or kick legitimately. No prior he has to attempt which is clear he was attempting to kick so refer point 1 on prior which is clearly subjective 😂
