but it's also worth noting that, at the time, no one knew the cap would explode to the degree it's set to explode which also would've helped the initial forecast obviously wrong at the time! but over the last four years a lot has changed with both the model and the cap landscape

I’m sorry but this changes many things, I’d be more than open to trade him this summer for a piece that can help us now. I just don’t see why he needs to go back for a 3rd year while he’s been dominating. The Habs window is opening and I don’t think they can wait for him to be impactful.
