A few things I like about MPP (machine payments protocol) Payment-method agnostic (supports stablecoins on Tempo, Stripe, cards, Bitcoin lightning, etc) Open and extensible (without our permission) Streaming payments (via state channels) Minimal and efficient
Machine Payments Protocol (mpp.dev)@mpp

Introducing the Machine Payments Protocol: an open standard for machine payments co-authored by @tempo and @stripe MPP is designed to be extensible and payment-method agnostic, already supporting stablecoins, cards, and more.

$income is a patience test it separates the holders and the scalpers yea you can scalp if you're good with shitcoin TA but you do it once, twice, even three times but you will eventually be forced to buy higher scalpers actually keep bringing volume so no reason to hate on it, and in this game volume will increase the floor with the agent tech I do think this will become a PVE, maybe I am wrong or maybe I am delusional but in the crypto world being delusional is what separates the winners with the losers

Moving forward with the Hackathon project. We already integrated @Celo as supported chain so everyone doing payments in Celo can use it to distribute funds privately 🔐 Some future improvements could be allowing @MentoLabs stables along the USDC already supported and a possible integration with @SelfProtocol for KYC compliance.

Fast forward to @EthereumDenver We decided to try again this time with the @0xj4an help. This time, under pressure during the @monad blitz hackathon.

Lee Kuan Yew, founding father of Singapore, on England’s trajectory in 2002: "Five decades ago London had less food, less cars and was deprived of the modern consumer society. But the people were homogeneous, White, Christian, admirable, self-confident, courteous… Britain is now multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-religious. Churches are nearly empty on Sundays, while some 500 mosques are filled to capacity on Fridays, and other Hindu temples. Well, what of the future?"

Amazon just published a blog on x402! It provided full reference architectures for integrating the protocol into AWS infrastructure for financial services TLDR of what it covered: - x402 revives HTTP’s 402 “Payment Required” status code as a programmable payment rail for autonomous AI agents, developed by Coinbase - The flow: agent requests a resource, gets a 402 response with a payment spec, pays via USDC micropayment on-chain, resubmits with receipt; sub-2-second settlement at roughly $0.0001 per transaction - No subscriptions, no API key management, no vendor contracts; agents pay per use on demand - Every transaction is recorded on-chain, giving a full audit trail by design - AWS published three reference implementations: 1) AgentCore + CloudFront + x402 (agent side) 2) CloudFront + Lambda@Edge + WAF (merchant/provider side), and; 3) a general guide for monetizing any HTTP app via x402 - FSI use cases highlighted: trading agents accessing real-time data feeds, compliance agents pulling sanctions lists, credit decisioning agents querying bureau data; all per-query instead of fixed subscriptions - McKinsey projects agentic commerce will mediate $3 trillion to $5 trillion of global commerce by 2030 Why this is notable: - This is AWS legitimizing x402 as enterprise infrastructure - They’re shipping reference architectures, sample repos, and integration guides that map directly onto Bedrock AgentCore (their managed agent stack) and CloudFront (their CDN/edge layer) - AWS is effectively telling FSI institutions: this is how your agents will pay for things. - The fact that the blog sits under their Financial Services Industries vertical, cites McKinsey’s $3-5T projection, and frames x402 alongside compliance and audit requirements, signals that AWS sees this as a production-grade payments primitive, as opposed to a niche protocol That’s a massive distribution and credibility unlock for x402 adoption - follow @KhalaResearch we have a full report dropping this week I’ll link the article below

🚨 I’M INVESTING MILLIONS INTO THIS It’s not gold. It’s not silver. It’s something nobody is talking about. The world of anti-inflation and anti-currency-devaluation assets is vast, and it’s far from limited to gold and silver. Of course, precious metals are excellent long-term bulwarks against the coming wave of negative real interest rates and inflation. Gold will no doubt go much higher than $5,000 in a few years, and if you’re holding it physically without leverage, the current price movements won’t worry you all that much. But don’t forget that alongside gold there’s oil, gas, coal, palm oil, iron ore, agricultural commodities, fertilizers. And plenty of undervalued stocks in these sectors, still at the bottom of their cycles, unlike gold and silver mines. You could even say that a good undervalued classic industrial small-to-mid cap deserves the label of anti-inflation asset too. At current prices, I feel far more at ease buying oil companies than gold mines. The oil companies / gold mines ratio is at its HISTORICAL lows. Oil services ETF: OIH (tracks oil services companies. Think drilling, equipment, services) Energy sector ETF: XLE (tracks the broader energy sector. Integrated oil & gas, E&Ps, services, etc.) That doesn’t stop me from holding the physical gold portion of my portfolio for probably quite a few more years. Remember, I called every market top and bottom of the last 10 years publicly. When I make a new move, I’ll say it here for everyone to see. Many people will regret not following me sooner.
