Two weeks after moving from Claude Code to Codex:
- GPT-5.5 high effort uses ~2-4x less than Claude Code Sonnet 4.6 (cut my setup from two Claude Max 20x accounts to one $100 ChatGPT plan)
- Codex UI feels weird for 2-3 days, then becomes a non-issue
- GPT-5.5 high is giving me noticeably better code than Opus 4.7
- Much better transparency into agent reasoning/output
- Codex uptime has been rock solid; Claude Code was hitting outages every few days
Biggest downside:
Claude Code still has the more mature plugin ecosystem + better skills/frontmatter support
If you’re a plugin developer, that matters.
If you’re an end user, maybe less so.

$IGV Software is about to go on a massive rally...and Microsoft will lead that. IGV's current Top 3 holdings in order: 1. $MSFT, 2. $ORCL, $PLTR. Friday's close was above a major fib rejection level of $90.73 (61.8%). It has already broken out from a major resistance line at $88. It double topped and still stayed within range until finally broke out over the last 2 days. Zooming out, the weekly shows you the story. $95 next week, with a breakout into $100 by May 22nd, but probably shows a push next week into that range. With Microsoft the #1 holding, showing a similar pattern to IGV. Both on the verge of a major upswing.

Pacifica is to Solana as Hyperliquid is to Arbitrum. I have nothing against Pacifica but it is as much of a competitor to Solana as Hyperliquid is.
Binance and Coinbase also hold customer funds on Solana in Binance deposit adresses. That does not make Binance or Coinbase an exchange on Solana.
I say this all not to disparage Constance or the Pacifica team, I wish them the best of luck but I just want to explain the rationale behind supporting teams that are actually building perpetual futures on Solana. Those teams contribute to transaction volume, network effects, and revenue for the chain.
The world in which Pacifica unseats Hyperliquid is no better for Solana than the one in which Lighter or Aster unseat Hyperliquid.

When we started building in 2025, we picked Solana because it was the best chain for what we wanted to do and I was personally bullish on the ecosystem. We had no grants nor raised any funds from investors. We wanted to build a great product first and let the market decide. The market defined us as a Solana perp DEX and users solidified it organically before we ever pushed that narrative. Many people have asked me if our growth came from Foundation support. The answer is no. Regardless of what the Foundation chooses to back, we have consistently driven flow to the network since day one. Our TVL sits on Solana, trades settle onchain, and we built a unified margin system that supports $SOL as the only non-stablecoin collateral. These are the facts. DeFi exists across a broad spectrum of execution quality, liquidity depth, and transparency. Builders should be free to explore different architectures without being dismissed for not fitting a specific mold. We're proud of what we've built and grateful to every trader and community member who got us here. We will keep shipping what the market demands. No hard feelings. Keep building 🐬
