LAX is apparently doing everyone a favor by doubling the fee for all Ubers, Lyfts, taxis, and limos in an attempt to ease traffic into the airport. Officials claim the rate increase will not be passed on to the drivers or consumers. Meaning the officials have never taken an economics class and/ or believe you are stupid.

The other day I figured out the phone number of the person that was using an email address that belonged to me. They created an @offerup account and were messaging people about some jeans. I found the phone number in one of the messages and gave him a call. There was a lot of confusion but then he realized he forgot to add the numbers after the letters in the address. Sometimes you think people are being nefarious but it turns out they just aren’t very bright individuals.

The Self-Drive Act would establish safety standards, preempt state AV laws and allow manufacturers to make vehicles without manual controls such as steering wheels. "Autonomous vehicles hold enormous potential, not just as a technological advancement, but as a tool to save lives by reducing human error, which is responsible for most crashes," said Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-Fla.), who chairs a subcommittee of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce devoted to manufacturing issues, said. This vote moves the bill one step closer to becoming law.
