I rarely find a new podcast that I like
But since I’ve gotten used to David’s style on @FoundersPodcast, I find myself listening almost every day
If you want a sense of what it’s like, I recommend the episode on Estée Lauder. What a badass she was

Just finished Remembrance of Earth's Past: The Three-Body Trilogy (and feel extremely sad it is over).
What other sci-fi books can I read to cure this reader's blues?
i don’t get why people are calling the @jack v @pmarca thing “high school drama”. almost like they reflexively disdain conflict. actually, theres no better reason to be getting mad as fuck at each other than the future of technology
@bechtweets@michelletandler I worked for 9$ an hour in Sweden, I don’t believe Danish jobs are that much higher paying since the cost of living is only slightly higher in Denmark
@michelletandler We dont have an actual minimum wage in Denmark, but the lowest paying jobs, would probably be like 25$ an hour.
Anyone is allowed to unionize.
We dont however tax the rich 99%
@asinop Hi Ali! Is there any published article connecting to "Efficient Partitioning of Road Networks" blog post? Or somewhere else where the math is formalized?
Lame.
This is one of the most unique and interesting books I’ve read in a while.
Mind bending and extremely creative.
Thanks to @letitialatrobe for recommending it to me
Excited to release a browser extension "papers-with-video".

Any feedback welcome.
@chheden@alexeyguzey There is the infamous longest fast of all time (over a year) which has a paper you can read. I did once find a review of the extended medical fasting experiments, but don’t have it on hand sadly. Otherwise though you have lots of folks trying it... r/fasting is one source, haha
@WilliamAEden@alexeyguzey What would you recommend as a starting point for reading about long water fast?
Do you do it your self at home, if so what type of health monitoring do you do in connection to it? How long and how often?
@chheden@alexeyguzey Valter Longo is a common jumping off point, though I like complete, long water fasts and he’s more about very-low-calorie partial fasting days.
@WilliamAEden@alexeyguzey Well, you hear a lot about good health effects of fasting but I wanted to read what some of the actual research says. What they have looked at and what types of fasts. Do you have any recommendation on papers or person to start with?
@alexeyguzey@chheden Oof, I’ve read tons of papers on the subject, but I’ve been bad about cataloguing them over the years. There are tons if you go search for them, though most are pretty poor quality. What are you looking for?
