Centred on the major hubs of Piraeus and Elefsina, the industrial action sees workers from the transport, health, and education sectors joining forces to reject the "militarisation of ports."

In the same week Lebanon secured near-unanimous support at the WHA for its resolution on protecting its health workers and health facilities during conflict (only Israel and one other country opposed), Israel intensified its direct attacks on both. This shows how little regard is being shown for both, international institutions, and Lebanon’s efforts to secure a ceasefire through negotiations.

💢 New: Israeli strikes have hit the Rashidieh Palestinian camp near Sour, in southern Lebanon, targeting a water well supplying the northern section of the camp and a solar power system, according to L’Orient Today. 🔹Israel issued forces displacement orders for at least 10 villages across the Nabatieh and Jezzine districts on Monday, as well as the entire city of Tyre, while dramatically intensifying attacks across southern Lebanon, according to reporters @cbonneauimages and multiple local Lebanese reports. 🔹The Israeli military ordered residents in villages including Ain Qana, Harouf, Zibdin, Kfar Roummane, Doueir, Adsheet al-Shaqif, Maidoun, Louaizeh, and Sojod to move at least 1,000 meters away ahead of expected strikes before launching heavy strikes in many areas. 🔹Separate forced displacement threats were also issued for buildings in the Maashouk area near Sour (Tyre), where residents were ordered to flee immediately. 🎥 Footage ⤵️

Most children in #Gaza are displaced, many living in tents or overcrowded shelters. The noticeable rise in cases of diseases is especially painful for children. While UNRWA continues delivering essential services including shelter and sanitation, rodents, overcrowding and poor hygiene conditions are direct causes for the spread of disease. People in Gaza need proper homes. Supplies need to be allowed in at scale.

UNRWA is playing a fundamental role in countering the spread of skin infections caused by rodents and insects in #Gaza. Our medical teams are treating thousands of the 125,085 reported cases. Our sanitation teams are spraying safe pesticides in areas where huge numbers of displaced people still live in overcrowded makeshift settlements. Acute shortages of fuel, pesticides, tents and medications are limiting the response to the crisis. Unrestricted flows of sanitation and medical supplies are urgently needed in Gaza. #UNRWAworks
