@MikeDeHart67 @JosephW48067668 @Local_man2479 holy how can everything someone say be dumb and wrong like that lol
English

@JosephW48067668 @Local_man2479 I serve Jesus the alpha and Omega, your pitiful god is created. Mine has no beginning.
English

@steve1776 @TheGermanicist Elohim plural? So Gods? Interesting lol
English

@TheGermanicist Moses wrote about them (Elohim - plural), Jesus spoke of them. He being the Son, speaking to His Father and also told His disciples that when He went up, the Holy Spirit come down to teach them. The Trinity exists.
English

@_pipdid They reject just about every single core belief of Christianity and Judaism so... no
English

*Mormons ARE Christians
(*Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints)
Hoops@Hoopss
What opinion will get you in this position?
English

@RunnerBean07 @AntHoneyJakes @GodLogic_GL The Book of Mormon takes place in Old Testament times so that doesn’t work
English

@AntHoneyJakes @GodLogic_GL Mormons aren't Christians. Adding to already closed canon is blasphemy and that's exactly what the book of Mormon is, as well as an abomination.

@jmbrim3 @BasedLatterDay @TracerBuIlet The doctrine that is true a lot of people are too afraid to admit it is
English

@OurLadysDonor @edoubledubya Because the false doctrine of creatio ex nihilo has horrible implications pertaining to the character of God and therefore cannot be true.
English

@cipherapex @edoubledubya Why are you convinced that matter exists without a Creator?
English

@david_g17 @Latterdaytruth Ofc Joseph’s restoration and expanding understanding of the nature and mysteries of God were progressive and gradual, not at once, and theyre far from being complete too, we have so much more to learn and truths to be revealed and clarified.
English

@cipherapex @Latterdaytruth I'll admit I didn't know that. Thanks!
That makes more sense - I mean 3 people aren't going to have the same exact testimony.
I still think the evidence is overwhelming that Smith changed who God is over time. We see it in the changes to the BoM, changes to the first vision, etc
English

@OurLadysDonor @edoubledubya It’s the one that fully convinced me it is true
English

@edoubledubya That's the book that convinced me Mormonism isn't true
English

@cipherapex @Latterdaytruth The people who wrote that were raised and living during the Great Awakening. They would have meant the same thing everyone else in that area at that time would have meant by it.
English

@david_g17 @Latterdaytruth One God ≠ One being. We agree they are one God and to specify more clearly, one Godhead, but nowhere in the Bible or BoM will you see anything saying they are one being.

@PaulEStoddard @Germanicist Not necessarily that there was a point in time where Jesus was just some guy and then became God but more that his divinity proceeds from the Father, and we can have the same divinity shared with us too and be allowed sit on the throne of God just like Jesus.
English

@Germanicist The Bible does not teach that Jesus became God:)
English

@nicoraytruth @extradeadjcb There's still a lot of us like that 😁

The key to Utah is understanding how Mormons went from
respectable New England Puritans >
militant clannish bride-kidnapping polygamists >
turbo-American anticommunist g-men>
this repulsive creature
we were always Americans, but we were also invaded & conquered by America

Bennett's Phylactery@extradeadjcb
In this podcast, we discuss the historical causes of Latter-day Saints’ unusually aggressive adoption of American managerialism, and what that means for Utah politics today blog.exitgroup.us/p/the-ordeal-o…
English

@JTJosephauthor @rccostner @grok “If God cared why wasn’t it in the original Bible.” That’s under the wrong assumption the 66 book compilation you have is compiled by God, which it wasn’t, so the fact he isn’t involved in deciding what’s included whatsoever, you can’t blame him for the BoM not being included.
English

@rccostner @grok I was more concerned about the historical proof, the knowledge part I didn’t have a problem with, but Mormons claimed they “added” to the Bible. If God cared why wasn’t it in the original Bible. Grok is saying the history is fiction

@ShawnRyan762 You people are so theologically corrupt you refuse to read the Book of Mormon for yourself and find out by experience and revelation from God’s own voice that it’s true.
